I am running into a problem where after running thru a mission I get to a point where i cannot proceed further because i can't access and object or a door. If i move far enough away i can get the option to open the object or door but i am outta range.. When i move forward to close the range i loose the option. I am at wits end trying to figure it out but I am at a point where the game is unplayable and extremely dissapointing. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Can't access doors at times

I had trouble opening the door of the com room on the Normandy at a certain point. I have the PC version. What I did was hit the escape buitton. Then when I exited the screen it brough up I immediately hit the space bar. That opened the door as the door reticlue was temporarily highlighted for a second on exiting the screen.
Try that and see if it works for you.

Had the same problem. What worked for me was to tune screen resolution from 16:10 and 1680x1050 down to 4:3 and 1280x960. Things don't look just as great any more, but I guess it's my computer who's to blame for that...

Not the entire PC, actually, no. This was dug from a well-deserved grave. But it was never fully answered, and there was such a very simple reason for the OP to experience the error. He had failed to read the official System Requirements label for comprehension, and bought the game in spite of owning an inadequate PC video device. I want to try to make sure any Search from now on won't bring up an "unanswered" post such as this one had been (there should be no necessity for any Esc-Esc work-around with a supported video card).Squire Rudi wrote...

Basically, this happens when the frame rate is poor, and low end video devices always have poor frame rates. Occasionally, of course, some other situation affects an otherwise adequate video graphics card, and slows it down until it doesn't work properly, but usually, the owner is already conscious of the slowdown before this added complication raises its head.
