I was able to upload my save file from ME1 on the xbox 360 with no problem but then I noticed that I couldn't save my file. At first, I thought it was because I was fighting but right before I went to meet the illusive man the game still wouldn't let me save. I thought at least the autosave would be there but that file isn't anywhere. I can't be the only one haing this problem, especially since I've been playing ME1 all this week so I know my xbox 360 works.
Help please!

If you have the auto save on. It wont let you save. Turn off the Auto Save function and it should work. I had the auto saved function on and I saw the saving icon appear, so i exited out. Later that night I got back on and my "saved" game was gone. I'm having the same problem again. I restarted over from the last time and I was at least 80% done with the game and now it doesn't see my saved game anymore.. EA needs to fix this.

I had the same issue...only in my case it corrupted my gamer profile & everything on my Memory Card...including my ME1 character!
