Hey guys.

I am a little confused on what N7 missions "Are".

I know they are side-quests, but where do you get them at? 

Basically, how do you find them?  I haven't done any yet and am 15 hours in to the game.

They are either emailed to your personal terminal (the details on where to find them) or are found through planet scanning on "Anomoly Detected" planets. They are also chained, so when you complete one, the next in the series will become available.
