Curious if you had a flawless ending or not. If you did not, who ended up dying? Think their deaths will influence your future gameplay in ME 3? For those who got everyone out alive, how?

I got Zaeed shot when commanding his own squad. While defending the last gate, Jack and Legion died. I was devestated when Zaeed died b/c he was always the one person I could have a new conversation with on the ship without him blowing off my conversations for next time.

None of my squad did...but all of my crew except for Dr. Chakwas were turned to paste and fed to the human-reaper.

Tali, the poor dear took a rocket to the face while closing the door. I even had full loyalty and upgrades. It was upsetting.

Legion died for me, but I am reloading the game to do all the side missions without losing crewmen.

He was my vent fella.

Legion can't die. He's probably uploaded to another Geth server or something..

This. Silly crew, you should have followed the cripple to the safe room. Fortunately Chakwas is made of meltiresistant brandy.

Well his 'body' was in a coffin at the end, but you could have a valid point. I don't see why they didn't just replace his head piece personally. Guess we might find out in ME3

I just beat it literally 1 min ago and Tali and Zaeed died. I just ****ing crapped myself because of the ending... hooooolllllyyyyy fuuuuuccccckkkkkk

I was confused at this, I was like "How the hell did he die!?!?!"

Yeah, my first run through Zayeed died leading the second fire team (shot as he clears the doors).



On a run while trying to create a suicide mission (6 not loyal, no Normandy upgrades). I lost 7, Thane, Legion, Jack, 1st 3 to die during the approach. Tali (don't remember where), Grunt when Miranda (loyal) couldn't hold the biotic field against the seeker swarm, Mordin on escort duty, and Samara during the final stages (she was with the group holding the door).

Second playthrough, Renegade, stupid me forgot to upgrade the armor and someone (Jack? Can't remember right now) got a laser cannon death sentence.

How did you kill zaeed? He's like the most unkillable squaddie in the mission.

me too then on my runthrough to get shep to die at the end, after achieving it i finished a run where only tali and garrus were alive, cuz they're my bff's

Legion, Zaeed, and Mordin in my only playthrough. Working on a second now. I messed up Thane's loyalty mission, so he might be in danger.

I'd managed to lose Zaeed first time round - then I realised I'd forgotten to assign any skill points to Scary Samara who was providing my insect repellent (I was on my way to do her loyalty mission immediately prior to all the unpleasantness). Needless to say, I replayed that bit after I'd remembered to make her remember how to use her biotics.

No one can "randomly" die, I've completed nine playthroughs and no one has ever died

Tali/Legion = Pipes
Garrus/Miranda/Jacob = Second team
Samara/Jack = Biotic shield
Mordin/Tali = Escort/Other one in your squad

It's not hard.
