i am trying to romance tali but twice i have said things that have upset her, i am just used to selecting the options that are on the bottom since i am always trying to get renegade points. does my character still have a chance of getting her as the li?

you may have screwed the pooch. it seems like romantic conversations always have the rejection options towards the bottom.

lucid if you'd read you would have seen it was an accident. i am tired as it's well past midnight here and i hit the wrong option. i normally just blast through other conversations with the lower right option whatever it may be and it has become a habit, in this case it did harm.

Well, unfortunate, if it was a mistake. Pretty sure bottom-rights kill romance.

i choose bottom left the first time i talked to her because it was what i would have said and it turned out being somewhat renegade. i did reload the second time and it set me back about 45 minutes, but i avoided the renegade options and was just nice. im thinking if i help her with her loyalty mission and use my massive amount of renegade to win at the trial and then express interest in her in the last conversation i will still have a chance. either that or i will have wasted my time.

You won't be the only one to have wasted time. I failed Legion and most of the crew and didn't have a save point to go back to, so I now have to restart to make sure they survive.
