for the some of u who might not realize once you beat the game u can go up to your room and call up your love partner to either (in my case) let tali sit on my lap and look at each other eyes or rest in the bed all lovely like  =p and i really mean rest not sex haha so dont get any wrong ideas so quick (u only get one chance for that) lol anyways i think it was lovely and cute with tali,but if i talk about the "love scene" it was cute and sexy

my cousin choose miranda and he says it sexy lol ( i am mad though that his "love scene" (miranda) was longer tha n mine though (tali) but at the end it was AWESOME game with good everything, i always love the story and love story with cool armor looking cutscenes bioware is making.

so who do u choose?
and who did your friends,family,etc choose? or they didnt care?

cant wait for mass effect 3 hopefully i heard it will be in 2011 until then lot of mass effect 2 and downloadable contents.

I chose Miranda but I was kind of disappointed. After the love scene in ME1 I was expecting to see something at least equal to that but not really even close.

Is it true, that the fling with Kelly won't count as a "romance", and thus won't be considered "cheating" when you import to ME3? I've read that, contrary to what happens in other romances, Shep doesn't turn over the picture of the ME1 LI if s/he's taking Kelly to dinner etc.

Kelly is only a fling. So it's not considered a romance.

Indeed. The picture doesn't get turned over, you don't get the paramour achievement, etc. She does all the things the regular romances do (and more with the dancing), but she doesn't technically count. And given her role in the endgame, I found her very, very satisfying as a romance option.

DUDE. It would be sooo frickin' awesome if Bioware did a DLC with this option implimented because...my fem!Shep wants to get her snuggle on with Liara.

You can't be romancing one of the ME2 LI's, obviously. She doesn't care about the ME1 LI's, though. I imagine you have to flirt with her consistently to get her to be interested.

So it could affect how that works out.  Especially if Kelly is in ME3 in any kind of capacity.

Try going and talking to your LI once, go back to your cabin and attempt to call them up again. If you still have no luck then it's possible you just aren't targeting it properly.

I'd like it to affect ME3. There shouldn't be a "Get out of jail free" card with this.

I picked Jacob. I love the image of my Shepard resting on the bed with him, arms wrapped around him as if he were a big teddy bear. She just looks so peaceful, and after going through all the crap of the last two games (and I gave her the Colonist/Sole Survivor background to boot), seeing my Shepard happy for once makes me smile.

I am a little confused as to why Jacob rests shirtless, though. =P I mean, I'm not complaining, but still, makes me wonder if there was a little fooling around before they got to the 'resting' phase...

However Devs have commented that it is still part of the save game that is transfered.  So it is still possible that she could be a serious love interest in the next game.... but it's two years off... so who cares.

Well one of the devs said it's up to your imagination what happened when you and Kelly had dinner.

So hopefully there will be a dialogue option in ME3 where you can say things went far with Kelly if you want to pursue that road or not if you don't.

I'm all for Kelly returning as a LI in ME3!

What can I say I tried that drink that turian bartender gave me and woke up a week later. What really pisses me off is my 2 teamates will not tell me what I did for that week

I haven't completed any of them yet. Currently working on Garrus because it seemed the most natural.

I didn't get any moments (lovely or otherwise) with my LI before the ending, that should tell you about my lovely moments after it.
