When you picture your Dragon age hero what weapon do you want him weilding? I want to roll a Templar so I would love to end up with a nice shield a one handed sword. Or a two handed sword so he fits almost the Arhangel look with a gaint claymore.

For my Mage? A delicate little staff barely more than a twig, with flickering golden runes trailing up and down it, leaking power. That is, if I can get him to look more.. effin'... feminine. This creator is stumping me at every turn for making a "pretty" male.

A huge two handed sword made of dragonbone(or something else really cool in the DA universe) for my city elf!

I was thinking I'm not rolling Rogue but a Assassin with Dragon Teeth Daggers would be a awesome weapon.

My dream weapon would be a Two-handed claymore that has a special effect against darkspawn:
If it gets the killing blow the enemy's head gets stuck on the sword and the next enemy to get targeted by the sword gets the head flung at em for decent damage and a fear effect.

Ehhh. Having a lightsaber as an easter egg weapon doesn't really make sense. Brand new IP, brand new world, all its own goodness to explore and learn about... adding in a weapon from a completely different lore and setting would detract from that. Maybe not much to some players, but quite a lot for others. I mean, we're sitting here, playing through, enjoying this game, and all of a sudden, WHAM! Lightsaber and Jedi, jerking us out of it.
While it would be cool to see a lightsaber in Dragon Age, I'm hoping it'll be a player-made addition rather than a Bioware easter egg. Maybe in Dragon Age 2, once we're used to the world...

It would be nice to have some kind of fist weapon a la Wolverine, dragon's claws maybe? Since my first char will be an assasin it would look awesome. not sure how it fits in the game world though, I don't think it does =(.

I've always been a fan of pole-arms, and I would love to be able to go spear and shield style. Alas, bioware has deemed my dreams to fade into oblivion.

Two-handed... soup ladle of smashing +5.
I still like the idea of surprising the enemy with an unusual weapon.
