I´ve always been a fan of sword´n´board, ducking behind the shield while the High Dragon does his fireworks just looks awesome.
Reminds me of that fighting scene in 300 where the persian´s pile of bombs goes off.

I havent seen all the weapons available but my favorite is shield with spiked mace&chain, Nothing like the cracking of bone when your spin move lands a well placed blow, but I will most likely go sword and shield. O course if I could get any weapon from any game I would hae to take the multi-shot spider arrows from sacred..........

i would like a spear, but i don't think they have spears in this game.

as far as swords go, i would be thinking a long sword with a 2 handed grip or greatsword with a ricasso, but it really wouldn't matter becasue this game doesn't have such detail with techniques that a ricasso or thrusting blade would matter.  (despite the obvious depiction of plated armors in the videos so far).

i would want it undecorated with a fuller, disc pommel and straight crossguard with no design or frills.

I'd have to go for the old sword and shield method, smashing dark spawn in the face while running him through. As for the sword it'll be a long sword forged by the ancients. (sound mystical and dangerous)
