When you picture your Dragon age hero what weapon do you want him weilding? I want to roll a Templar so I would love to end up with a nice shield a one handed sword.  Or a two handed sword so he fits almost the Arhangel look with a gaint claymore.

I am going for a reaver

sure but i warn you my only previous experience in making stuff is little big planet or gary's mod so it may take awhile to teach myself how to make stuff let alone how to get my drawing's from paper and imagination into the game itself

Put me down for a bastard sword too, although I'd really like a 15th century bill or similar polearm - the nice thing being thatwhen you use one in a fight, all the action tends to occur several yards away from you.

u havent even seen the two handed swords in game and as far as the polearms go: no chance. im gonna have a ahrd enuff time figuring out how to create a custom skin for an axe then trying to figure out how to apply it. so creating my own base model, skin and animation?? again. no chance.

Short swords, two of them or a sword and mace. Small hammers, daggers and short bows are fun too. Dragon bone sounds like a great material. For my warriors I'll likely pick something large like a greatsword or maul.

No sweat! I already know quality takes time, I was just kinda cheerin your efforts on! Axes rule, & it gets annoying to see them implemented in games in gimp forms when axes deserve to rule the weapon roost. (Shamelessly biased opinion)

I'm in full support of any & all efforts to makes axes that will bring joy & carnage to warriorkind!

Spear and shield. But since NO GAME IN THE HISTORY OG RPGs will allow you to use a spear and shield - 300 style - I doubt this will as well.

It depends on what class I'm playing.  I prefer playing a ranger and have historically used duel weapons, usually katanas.  For Dragon Age, I've created 7 characters and plan on using a variety of weapons for the different characters.  From what I've seen on the videos, I think I'm going to enjoy all the different weapons.

flameswords might already be in the game, i know from reading the tutorial wiki that making them in the toolkit is going to be very easy, just take a ready-made sword and add the flame option to it. as such im fairly sure there will be flameswords in-game.

for my Rogue? Hmm... I want a crazy sweet Horn Bow. Like from some kind of ridiculous hell beast or something. As for the close wet work stuff...hmm...I want twin weapons of some kind. Not one of one type and another of another. Like...something that's razor sharp on both sides towards the tip with a serrated edge from the middle down to the hilt on the inside. each about 10 inches long.

I've seen a lightning enchantment on a weapon from some in game footage. There is a video clip from the dwarven origins that shows a dwarven rogue with a type of lightning weapon.
