I found Miranda to be the most interesting LI there's been so far. I do appreciate the mysteriousness of Tali's relationship, but I felt more like she was "best friend material" than anything. However, I do respect the argument against mine, and I understand why others would think hers the best. ME1's LI's to me were awful though, and simply felt like busy work to get you to the pay off (getting tail). Ashley is irritating, and I found no connection with her, because she was your typical woman, all the talk we did was about her. I personally didn't care about her sister beating some guy up, her father not being there, yadda, yadda, yadda. Liara was extremely easy, sort of like the default LI in the game, so if you didn't time things right with Ashley, you could just settle for her. It was a tad easy to get through with Miranda's storyline, and I wouldn't have minded a bit more in depth conversation, but she was the best out of them all. Her voice is just amazing, Yvonne Strahovski is blessed for that. I do have one question though, will my ME2 LI have a major role in ME3? I'm really hoping so, because I went with my Shepard that didn't have an LI in ME1, and just took Miranda in ME2, because that's my lady
. I hope someone knows for sure!

Haha, very funny, but honestly the whole "I grew up with no daddy, please be my father-figure" angle appealed to me.... Does that sound better or worse? Well, I mean it in a non-weird way, so, yeah.

No, I liked Miranda too. I just couldn't pass up knockin boots with a Quarian....

Yeah you aren't alone. With her allegiance to Cerberus destroyed at the end of this game I hope she becomes even better in ME 3.

Thank you DeadlyParasite, MrBiggens' mind is clearly in the gutter, and apparently, he does NOT like boobs. Point proven MrBiggens.

To be honest I was a little let down with the Tali LI. It built up to be a very mysterious and exciting storyline (and I admit I wanted to see her face) and then just kinda... fell off the end... I was very let down with it.

I enjoyed it. I think it would have been better if she were colder before doing her loyalty mission. Having her leave Cerberus for you is awesome.

Agreed, I loved it when she left Cerberus, shows her complete dedication, that's a good woman... Although, a part of me was hoping we'd storm the Cerberus base, and I'd become the Illusive Man. I'd be the one with all the connections, and since I'm 100% Paragon, I'd use it for the good, haha.

100% Paragon. Gross.
EDIT: Although it's not as bad in ME 2 as it was in ME 1.

Haha, this is hysterical though, I was curious when I heard about inviting your LI to your quarters after the game, and I have no idea what I'm doing with Miranda. I look like I'm doing the robot dance while sitting on the couch, and Miranda is... Going into convulsions, I might need Chakwas here in a second.

I know. I don't know who animated that, but it looks weird as hell.

Well, I did find a balance, I had like 25% Paragon, like in Tuchanka, that Blood Pack guy talked to much, so I let him have it. There were also a few other situations where I handled some idiots the... aggressive way too, haha.

You have to keep gaining experience until Kelly tells you to talk to Miranda, and she'll ask you to help her save her sister. You do that, then you gain more experience, then she'll... proposition you, and when you're headed for the suicide mission, she'll come find you.

Miranda is a douche. I sided with Jack when I found out what the ""Illusive" Man had done.

I found Miranda to be a very shollow character, least interesting in the game. She has the whole "Cursed with awesome" thing doing on. She was made perfect, a focuses way to much on it and the problems that resulted from it. Go boring and annoying, her absolute devotion to Cerberus doesn't help either.

Jack was a stereotype crybaby. I found no interest in her because she whined all the time, and acted like she was such a badass. I've got news for her, Shepard owns Jack, regardless of what she thinks.

Actually, come to think of it, Shepard owns all the crewmates, they're just pawns in his bad ass world.

Well, at least my question was answered, I am NOT the only one that enjoyed the Miranda LI. Hopefully they'll go more in depth with it in ME3. My hope is that if you chose 1 LI between the 1st 2, they'll allow that LI to be a team member. If you chose 2, well, I don't know how they'll deal with that. Basically, I'm hoping that they create a situation where each LI will present a different aspect of the story, and you continue that LI (regardless of who you chose). That's work to create that many different side quests that won't be used because you only have 1, but I think BioWare could do it. I just don't want to be limited to who they think should be brought with you, or some new people in ME3, and not get the depth you'd get from a multi-game LI storyline. It'd be the typical, shallow 1 game hitter quitter.

I like Miranda's LI. First off, sorry alien lovers, I don't want Shep to have an LI that's gonna live a couple hundred years longer then him(Would be like the situation at Illium with the Krogan and Asari) and I see Tali as more of a best girl friend( a woman who you can talk to about stuff guys would not want to or give bad advice about.). Next, Ashley isn't as strong and independent as Miranda. Also, I liked Miranda's attitude, she is more of a I'm gonna shoot you and not let's talk things over and resolve this. For example, if you didn't pull the paragon trigger, at the end of her loyalty quest she shot that guy.... That is something Ashley wouldn't do and that is not a good fit for my Renagon Shep( I only say this because I blew up the Collector Base), he needs someone is gonna agree with his Renegade actions and even dish out some of their own.

Miranda was the most interesting LI for me. Probably has something to do with the fact that Chuck is my favorite TV series atm, as well as how emotional her loyalty quest was.
The fact that I also like boobs is completely irrelevant, true as it may be.
Hoping she comes back as a squad member for 3, would be really disappointed if she doesn't.

Hated Ms. Genetics.
Actually, she's my least-favorite character in the crew. Not only is her "cursed with awesome" ego trip insufferable, but she's incredibly self-centered and the least justifiably so. Okay, her dad made her and wanted her to be his perfect daughter, and that's why she fled from him, killed a bunch of mercenaries and kidnapped his other child. Because he wanted to control her.
This, coming from the person who admits that, because Cerberus spent soooo much money on you, Shepard, and she works a whole two years on you, that she wanted to put a control chip in your brain. Hypocrisy, much? Her best friend put it best (before she shot him): He helped her leave because she chose to leave. Her sister didn't. And she killed a lot of people in the way.
She needlessly antagonizes Jack - who actually HAD a traumatic childhood - because Jack has a justifiable grievance with Cerberus. I, Shepard, with the Sole Survivor background, can totally understand, considering Cerberus tried to kill me!
My first playthrough, I sided with Jack in their little spat. Survived the suicide mission, as did all my companions and half the crew of the Normandy. Except one. Guess who?

Haha, alien lovers... Nice, I didn't go there, but I agree. The whole alien love thing just isn't for me, I imagine an asari's skin being like jello, and just weird... Not to mention the twilek-likeness with the head-tentacles and all, just a wee-bit odd for me. For Tali, think of what your skin and body look like after 2 hours in the pool, now think of spending YOUR WHOLE LIFE soaking in anti-biotics and other liquids... Yeah, I imagine her skin will feel more wrinkled than Jabba the Hutt's... Gross...
