Miranda was the most interesting LI for me. Probably has something to do with the fact that Chuck is my favorite TV series atm, as well as how emotional her loyalty quest was.
The fact that I also like boobs is completely irrelevant, true as it may be.
Hoping she comes back as a squad member for 3, would be really disappointed if she doesn't.
Agreed, my taste for boobs was in no way involved in this, because, what am I going to do with them? They're literally fake, not even implants, they're not real because she's not real. That's why I'm married, because my wife's a real person, haha. I mean, at least it feels like you can level with me on the whole best voice-over thing, kind of reminds me of Bastila. That gentle British accent is just nice.

You are not alone. Not everyone who plays this game is a furry yearning for chicken legs and bird-raptor aliens.

I agree that the choices were way better in 2 than in 1, which is why people talking about how all the 2 characters were made to be expendable and how the ME1 LI's are coming back for sure has me a bit worried.

Well as a female, I haven't exactly had her as an LI, but I reeeally didn't think I was going to like her. I was suprised at how quickly she grew on me, and ended up being my favorite character.
Same here....I thought she was gonna be I'll do anything for Cerberus, **** Shep and I really felt a DA:O ending(For those of you who know what I'm talking about with a certain LI.). Then, if you have in your party at the final battle, she tells TIM to F off and she quits.... It really made a bi statement about her loyalty to Shep.

Gah, why is it people insist on bashing Garrus fans? It's not "furry" because he's not a bird. He's an alien with some avian similarities. People say humans have ape similarities, that doesn't make it socially acceptable to hump your pet spider-monkey. Furthermore, it's not our fault that one of the coolest, most interesting and well-developed characters just happened to be modeled with a Turian face. Why should we settle for a character that's boring but happens to look human when we can have an awesome character that just happens to be a (sentient, intelligent and not at all animalistic) alien?Mox Ruuga wrote...

I loved Miranda. Not sure if she's my favorite female romance, since I haven't done a ManShep yet. I'm trying to decide between her and Tali, since Tali was just so sweet. Being a Chuck fan, I was incredibly excited when I first saw pictures of Miranda and really wanted to see her in action. It came as a surprise to me that so many people on the forums didn't like her.

I'm on my second playthrough, and I swore I would try something different, but I have a hard time letting go of Tali, and I'm even considering messing around with Jack.
As far as the appeal of Tali, to me, for me, it's not so much about the looks, (though I would have to imagine they still take care of themselves. They have to take their suits off to procreate and presumably eat and use the bathroom, after all) it's more about the personality. It reminded me of my only high school girlfirend, who I knew as a causal acquaintance for 3 years. Also, she was just as nervous when she finally started flirting with me.
Edit: Spelling.

Well, people don't like her because they think they're original liking all the aliens. Not so original when the majority of people on this board feel that way, so it's rather contradictory. Anyway, I agree that Garrus is the most interesting and well-developed character. It's a shame there wasn't a female that well developed. I mean, I felt like I'd sacrifice all of the other party members, even Miranda, for my home skillet Garrus. I just feel that people go overboard with the alien love thing, and take it a bit far. I mean, I just don't want my Shepard to get involved with aliens, it's just weird. I know that these aliens went through the Alien Rights Act of 2023, and they're accepted as equal citizens, I just feel like it's not normal, haha.

A little off topic, but once you bump uglies with Miranda after her loyalty mission, does that automaticlly trigger the romance?

This is why Tali is best.

It's sad some people take everything in life so seriously, and can't see humour where it is. Also its "No wonder". Also admiring her physical appearance does not make one shallow.

Haha, if I remember correctly, one of your advances on Miranda involves "admiring" her body.

probably don't. Procreating might even take place during the
aforementioned 'suit linking', through well-placed removeable
sections...
See, I'm fine with it not being everyone's cup of tea. I just don't get why people can't be civil or why they act like there's something wrong people just because they like the Garrus (or even Tali) romance. It's a game. Would I date a Turian in real life, assuming it was even possible? I'm going with no. But he just makes sense for my FemShep, for the kind of character she is and the world she lives in, and frankly he is the most badass LI we girl gamers have gotten from BioWare.WKlingbeil1 wrote...

Haha, my concern regarding that topic is mainly with the males. Sort of like these stories going around where people become depressed because they'll never see the world Avatar is on (don't know the name, never saw it). The male "hardcore" fans, if you will, like to take things beyond normal capacities, and I can imagine 1 or 2 people in here being depressed when they realize that there will never be a chance that they could mate with a Quarian... Primarily because they don't exist.

Thank you, I loved "breaking the ice," so to say, haha. It felt like a challenge, break this woman's cold heart to find what's underneath, someone that deeply cares about you but is trying to resist it out of fear of weakness. It's the... chick-flick side of me, haha.

But i'm pretty sure Quarian aren't ugly..When Shepard witnessed Tali face for the FIRST time .. he looked quite pleased.
But i admit it .. Tali and Garrus are very popular because they're aliens .. Tali if she was a human , she would certaintly don't have the same attention.
On a side note Miranda Annoyed the hell out of me i nthe beginning .. She seemed to be a pet on a leash.Plus with all the whole *i was made to be perfect but blahblahblah* . Plus when she talk to you at some point .. the camera give a big look at her ass .. I choked literraly.
But well see. I love nice ass .. But frankly .. I'm to old to be a pervert .
