I don't know if its significant, but always gives me an ominous feeling.

I thought possibly too, but something tells me there's more...

Considering it is also going supernova, it's not exactly the safest place to be for TIM. I always thought that it was a screen, and for dramatic effect obviously. Especially when it is completely blue at the end game conversation with TIM.

I think people who think TIM is a reaper or harbinger are looking too far into things. Considering their similarities to Shepard's eyes they are obviously cybernetic implants.WKlingbeil1 wrote...

Indeed, the color of that star is either blue or red depending on what you choose to do with the collector base, at least that is what I assume. Though I also noticed that it is normal colored if Shepard dies (YouTube).Barker673 wrote...

I'd like to know what the deal is with his eyes... Effects from implants? IS HE A REAPER? Haha, but they kept focusing on them, so they have to mean something.
I think i read somewhere (possibly mass effect ascension that he made them like that so that he had the edge when negotiating or something like that

His eyes are definitely related to implants. If you don't heal your cybernetic scars as Shepard and go Renegade, you start getting Illusive Man's eyes.WKlingbeil1 wrote...

Ya I got this impression too. As a Renegade I notice I had the same eyes as TIM except they are red. It made me inclined to think TIM is a Paragon of sorts, so maybe there is more to his story. Or he just made them that way as some people have stated.

The star in the background could not possibly indicate where TIM is, because it changes colors. At the end of the game, it's blue. Stars don't go blue in the space of a few hours.

Read the whole post, then comment, there are 2 stars in the system that are present, one red, one blue.
To explain what that means, is that as they orbit, different stars may come into view. Much like how the moon will eclipse the Sun from time to time, that is the possibility in this scenario.

Just my opinion, but probably true. Jeebus speaks the truth.
