I ask because I screwed up the pick first time around(tired) and ended up with Widow not realising my error till much later.(I can't reload, would have to restart)

I'm pleased enough with the Widow(i'm a soldier) but I keep hearing how much the Revenant pawns.

I've read that even on NG+ you can't
A) Obtain a second super weapon
B) Swap them out

If this is the case, I ask you bioware PLEASE fix this. Let us swap or be able to keep obtaining super weapons with following NG+ playthroughs. Or ATLEAST launch it as DLC, I beg YOU!!!:crying:<_<B):?:wizard:

You lose all weapons in NG+, so no. Best as can be done is DLC, or cheating that will most likely only work on PC.

I wonder if you can select the Widow on the Collector ship at the end, and then grab the Reverent off the wall in Morinth's apartment.

Incorrect, I have a NG+ right now with all weapons, including the Revenant. All I did was import my save with the Revenant. I am currently working my way through the story to get the Widow next.

The Revenant isn't really a super weapon. More like a piece of junk.

Depends. Get all the Assault Rifle upgrades and take Warp Ammo? It becomes close to a super weapon. Nothing like the Cain heavy weapon, though. Sadly.

Revenent, with the AR accuracy upgrade, can be burst fired like the vindicator for quite a bit of accuracy when you need it, along with the spray when you don't.

Me, however, it's all about the rapid fire sniper rifle and heightened adrenaline rush. 3-5 dead unshielded enemies as soon as they show up on screen. Made collector fights pretty easy I'd drop all the drones with headshots and shredder rounds before the fight even starts, making the Harbringer easy.

Hm, what's the Widow? I knew of the Revenant LMG already, but haven't heard of this Widow. When do you get the opportunities to pick up either? My Vanguard got the Claymore shotgun on my first playthrough, and frankly I despise it. Will I get the opportunity to choose a different proficiency and super weapon in NG+, or can only Soldiers pick up one of each?

Widow the Sniper rifle. It a 1 shot reload but from what I herd if you hit 9 times out of 10 it a 1 shot kill.

I see. Sounds pretty awesome. Do non-Soldiers get it if they choose Sniper Rifle training, or do you have to already be proficient to get the uber version? I hope a Vanguard can get it, because the Claymore disappointed me greatly.

It was there when I picked up the Revenant I'm hopin this ng+ will allow me to have both It be crap if it replace 1 if I pick the other the pro of a Soldier should be the ability to get all 3. Other classes already get assault rifle training.

Vanguard can get either Claymore, AR training, or sniper training. I love that we can restart missions now in this game. I am playing a Vanguard and chose the Claymore shotgun. When the Collector's ambush you I whipped out my new gun and.... was very disappointed. I restarted the mission and grabbed AR training, and I must say I love the Vanguard with an AR. It would be interesting to see if we can change during NG+ or upgrade our old one to the "UBER" version.

Still no concrete on answer on this I see. WHY did I have to screw that up!!! WHY!!!!

The widow will destroy most "little" enemies with the right ammo in one shot. It is a "bolt" gun and gives you the distinct impression of a .50 caliber sniper rifle(Barrett).

It's not bad against the "heavy" type foes but it may take a few well placed shots(head usually)

It's a real game changer if you ask me, along with the cain "nuke" heavy weapon.

Soldiers are okay with snipers but seeing as how the Infiltrator can get time dilation from simply looking through the scope makes getting head shot much easier. From everything I've heard the Widow will be the ultimate sniper for an Infiltrator, cloak, aim, fire, dead. I'm really surprised by how much I like the Infiltrator. But using the ammo pack on your arm is a must. I got the Geth Shield power as a bonus but that will change once I let Morinth kill Samara. Dominate AND AI Hack FTW!

See, the restart is a great option, but I actually liked the Claymore at first. It was tearing Collectors in half. But, once I started gaining a few more levels, enemies just start having too much health/shield/barrier/armor and Claymore just doesn't kill them quickly enough to be worth the risk of getting up close.

I'm on my 5th playthrough right now, and when i made a new game + with my same character, at the scene where it gives me a weapon specialization or another weapon, it doesn't have the scene anymore. It only happens the first time.

WHY!?!?! NOOOOOOO!!!!

Bioware needs to do something about that if you ask me. So MY shepard misses out on the revenant or will DLC fix that? *looks at bioware*:crying:

There is so few guns in this game compared to the first, I feel like it is unfair to allow us to only choose one of the three.

I got really excited when i saw you could train Legion to use the widow because I though I could use it too. Sadly, that is not the case.

The revenant and widow are *both* badass weapons. Every soldier should take the revenant imo due to its damage output, 80 clip mag and 560 round carrying capacity. It does however have to be used with burst fire at medium and long ranges and this may not suit everyones play style. It's definately a pro choice :) I'm playing the game on Veteran difficulty and this gun mops the floor with EVERYTHING. I did use the Cain on the Thresher Maw tho :D

Everyone seems to think DLC is the answer to all of the "problems" on this game. Not thinking critically there.
