OK, I know this isn't exactly a technical issue, but... does anyone know if there's a ME1 Save Game Editor floating around out there? I've recently found myself in need of one after finishing Noveria and discovering that I've somehow screwed up my Kaidan romance and am going with Liara instead. (I wanted to see the Jealousy scene, but I must have accidentally blown off Kaidan somehow. )

A reload to fix it would take me back almost 20 hours of play, about half as many uncharted planets, and having to redo Pinnacle Station again. I do NOT want to do that again...

If anyone knows of some way, some program, that I could just... 'change some variables', and get the romance back on the right track, you would make me a happy man.

all i can say is go here: http://www.annakie.com/me/ tons of savegames, detailed descriptions of the decisions they've made etc. you can change the name to your own once you download it, but i dont think theres a way to change everything like the old kotor save editor.

Thank you! One of those saves should do just fine!  I originally had discounted them because I'd heard you couldn't change the character's name, but since you evidently CAN... And since ME2 lets you change your appearance/class anyway, all I need to do is find a save whose background/career and decisions closely match my playthrough, and I can effectively recreate my Shepard in ME2!
It's still a shame I won't get to see the jealousy and love scenes in ME1 in person, but eh, that's what Youtube is for.
