Ok, so it seems a lot of people are having a glitch where even if they were nice to Conrad Verner, he appears to remember you shoving a gun in his face.  I'm just curious to see if anyone's gotten a Conrad that's not renegade/what he's like.

I have the same problem as you, and I'm very interested to see what the paragon option Conrad is like. Btw I still hate the guy I just don't think he deserved a gun to the face. He was just an idiot.

My paragon Shepherd also has a problem with the asari consort being exposed. I didn't expose her yet i hear on the news shes being run off the citadel or something like that.

...Huh. come to think of it, he said something about a gun in his face, too, but I'm pretty sure I just told him off and said "go back to your wife"

If you did the quest on ME1, she wouldn't have been exposed, her ex-boyfriend gives away dirty and fake information about her.

He's not exactly an "ex-boyfriend", more like a obsessive John who fell in love with the courtesan.

And you can make him own up to that, and tell the wronged elcor the truth. In which case there really should be no rumors.

Hopefully these bugs are not something that was broken in ME1. I think we have a much better chance of getting them fixed if the error is caused by ME2.

I have the same glitch. I saved before I ran into him so I'll just avoid him in hopes of some sort of patch or whatever.

At the bar on Illium.... threatening the bartender in an effort to emulate renegade Shep it would seem.... except my character was a paragon.

I got this glitch, too, and when it happened the injustice of it really stung me. I was so nice to Conrad!

This isn’t the only thing, though. I got the same news report about the Consort, and I cleared that whole thing up.

Also, I heard something about the Sirta Foundation never recovering from an attack by biotic extremists. What? I completed that quest and rescued every hostage without casualties. Grr. Does going out of your way to be paragon count for nothing?

Yeah, the same thing happened to me! At first I was just like, "Oh yeah, I remember doing that" but that was my renegade FemShep that did that, not my Paragon Sheploo.

That's weird, I hope they fix it soon - I was actually really nice to him.

Same thing happened to me. All that paragon work gone to waste:(

Paragon work certainly doesn't seem to go to waste when you consider that most of the massive paragon decisions in ME1 don't carry over unless you import them. Starting a new game in ME2 means the Counsel dies, Wrex dies, and the Rachni Queen dies. Maybe even others I forgot. But yeah, if you want those decisions to matter in ME3, you HAVE to be a paragon in ME1.  Those decisions might even affect ME3 in a huge way if Shepard tries to unite the galaxy against the reapers a la Dragon Age.  Without the support of the Peaceful Rachni, United Krogan, and the Counsel's trust in humanity, who knows what'll happen in the final FINAL battle?

That's a pretty big deal and a bonus for us nice guys. :)

Unfortunately, this also happens for a few other cases. For example, the Sirta Foundation's base where biotic extremists drug all the civilians, causing them to wander around during the fight.

Well, even if you do the mission with no civilian casualties. It still counts as it being a bloodbath in ME2 (With Sirta nearing closure having not recovered from the attack 2 years ago). Even in ME1 it wouldn't properly record the results, making me think this is more a problem with ME1's save system, and ME2 simply reading that bugged info directly from ME1.

Y'know I originally assumed that I'd just loaded the wrong playthrough, but since so many others are hearing the same things, I'm revising my opinion.  It may well be a bug.  They were such minor things in the grand scheme, It just didn't seem worth restarting.

Out of curiosity, did anybody have problems with Gianna Parasini not matching what they remember of their game?

As for the biotic attack thing:  It doesn't nessecarily matter if you completed the quest without casualties.  I mean, you saved lives, but that doesn't mean that the Sirta foundation wouldn't still be vulnerable to bad press from the incident, especially depending on their actions -after-.

Also got the Conrad Verner "you put a gun in my face". Figured it didn't matter, so I for shooting him in the foot this time around. Even shot and bleeding (blood on bar, even) he just stands there while I talk to bartender and until I complete that side-quest. Hmmmm....

Heard 'bout Consort on news, wanted to go see her, but no. Very disappointed with Citadel in ME2. Long last Spectre back from the dead and I don't even get a face-to-face visit with Council???

I have the same glitches as well or it could be she did some other actions that we do not know about and it will be understood in ME 3, but its just a guess. As for Conrad Verner, it could be a bug or a mix up, but I can only guess at this point.

Bioware need to sort this issue out. Like anything, it's the little things that count. All those little good and bad things you did in the first being remembered in the second, Fans like that sort of thing and when you did something good in the first and it changes in the second it really dissheartens people.

Hopefully this will be a bug that they sort out at some point, or maybe they're just encouraging everyone to be renegade. Considering the fact that when they showed off ME1 and ME2, they always played as a renegade shepard. Also the default backstory is the actions of renegade. They should have allowed you to choose a paragon or renegade backstory if you started a new game without importing an old character.
