If you take the biotics and **** out of it, it's true. They're both boring as ****, the most ****y characters in the games, the obvious annoying female LI and are both racist. So, yeah...

As my parents told me since I was a child, if you don't have anything useful to contribute to the discussion, then don't say anything at all.
We know that you dislike the characters and that is fine by us. Just don't come into threads which by the BLOODY TITLE are going to be talking about Ashley and Miranda. You clog up the space, repeat the same stuff that you've spouted out in dozens of other threads and make the rest of us feel bad about a character that we really like.
And for the record, the most obvious romance in the first game was Liara, and in the second game it was Tali.

I imagine that if Miranda is at your side in ME3, she's gone along with whatever you've chosen. If you've earned her loyalty, she's with you, even if you don't see the dialogue about her quitting should you choose that path. I will be highly pissed if I don't have her in ME3, even as a cameo, and I'm an alien-loving femshep.
Per the romances, I am curious to see what happens. I boned Kaidan in ME1 just because I wanted to see his reaction in ME3- I knew I was going to be moving on to Thane and that Thane would be my woobie, twuu-wuv 4eva romance. I doubt I'll lose him as a squaddie, but I'm sure there will be tenseness, and I'm looking forward to trolling the hell out of him if BW lets us.
I can't imagine a Ashley vs whomever romance would be much different. Liara's might be a horse of a different tune, since you can end things gracefully with her iirc.

all I have to say to that alliance b*tch is she better know her role and place in 3 . If she gets out of line she will learn what payback is all about
Because...yeah, she's *so* going to be getting uppity with you (Shepard). Do you even listen to yourself speak sometimes?? Amost every other sentence from you lately has "payback, b***ch, and die" in it in regards to some, most, all of the NPC's and the SA, oh and BW if they upset you about something that may/may not be ME3.
Everyone get's wound up on topics, but you seem determined to live up to your screen name on a permanent basis.

Honestly, after reading a few of ExtremeOne's posts I have decided that he is without a doubt the single greatest bit of evidence that could ever be presented to disprove the Intelligent Design theory.
Normally I would try not to offend anyone but in the case of ExtremeOne, I make an exception. Talk Alliance Princess all you want, I'd rather that then the Cerberus Cheerleader with a cheesecake butt and the face deeply rooted in the uncanny valley.
Hah, I can be obnoxious too.
Anyway, onto the topic of Ashley and Miranda well, I could see them having arguments and falling outs but to be honest both Miranda and Ashley strike me as people who are reasonably mature about these things. Granted Ashley has a mean streak and a problem with jealousy in the past but I think, given all that's happened over the course of the two games, she may have learned to get past that by now.
Miranda might actually be angrier than Ashley but she wouldn't get really vocal about it, she's more the sought to use cold and snide remarks.
I doubt there will be much of a consequence either way, if Lair of the Shadow Broker was any indication.
In any case I'd rather see a simple argument or even just cold dismissal or even mature 'I accept that it's over now' sought of talk to what others percieve as the standard 'catfight' image. Frankly, I still find that image stupidly immature.
As for a romanced Miranda dying during the suicide mission? Well the only way I can see that happening is if either:
A. three quarters of the team die as well.
B. The whole team dies including her
C. A giant blackhole absorbes the entire universe.
If the sheer amount of difficulty associated with trying to get her killed off when she is disloyal is any indication, doing it when she's loyal and romanced no less would be quite a feat. Although as God Wood pointed out, surefire way to get her killed is to bring her disloyal to the final battle.

Of course she will. She is programed by Bioware developers with a specific role which she will perform in game. You are aware it's a game right?

Oh I am pissed at her for calling Shepard a god as well but the main thing I am angry about is how utterly stuck up she acted on horizon as if Shepard owes her something . whats worse is Shepard had no real respones to her alliance garbage . you can call it bad writing if you want but horizon made me want to get even with her no matter what .

I really do hope that the character you romanced in ME2 returns in ME3, it would seem rather annoying if they were simply left out of it all...

Seriously, you should have started your own topic on this.
Anyway, I don't see any of the LI characters left out. I do, however, see only the ME1 LIs being crucial to ME3's plot.

Okay, well that was sh*** writing you realize since you both had stupid things to say there. Don't get me wrong, you can hate Ash or what\\whomever all you want, I'm just saying the "die *insert name of something/someone* die!" comments get old after a while.
Personally I hated the whole Horizon thing myself, but I blame the writers for both sides on that one because no-one should be that stupid.

I think he secretly loves the Alliance but doesn't want to admit it, so he overcompensates.

I actually agree with this. This is the very thing that turned me off of her (and Kaiden's) character; I think the word here is CONTEMPT. I also agree BioWare's writing made Shepard look like a driveling idiot, which made me even angrier. Shepard's correct response should have been,
"I'm still fighting what I believe to be the greatest threat to this galaxy; that hasn't changed. You may not like Cerberus; but the Alliance and Council aren't exactly breaking their necks to help combat the Reapers. If you don't trust me after everything we've been through together, then I suggest we end this (relationship). I'm not going to lose focus just because you want to be stubborn. I'm fighting for our future. If you're not willing to help, then you're as good as the past!"

Well, I think Bioware decided that Shepard wasn't going to be a psychopath. Renegade is pretty harsh, not nuts.
