The only LI you can 'cheat' on in ME2 is Liara,and you already deal with that in the shadowbroker DLC.
If the writers make the VS dumping Shepard at Horizon, and then him/her Shepard moving on with his/her lovelife like a mature person appear as he/she being 'cheating' on the person that dumped Shepard, then I have lost the last ounces of respect for their writing ability.

Garrus, Tali, Liara, Joker, and Wrex all stayed loyal to Shepard through his time with Cerberus. Ashley prized her Alliance dogtags and sense of moral superiority more highly than any trust, love or loyalty towards Shepard. Sometimes mistakes can't be fixed and you just have to live with the consequences of your bad decision. She blew it.
