I know there's an Elf in Dragon Age, but how about a male crewmember for Shepard in Mass Effect 3?  Get some people who know the subject matter  in to make sure it's written well and realistically. Those to whom it does not appeal will surely have multiple other characters with which to have a relationship with.

Alnd no, Jack doesn't count :)

Jack was my favorite. You're all to pedestrian to enjoy her brand of crazy.

Not going to happen. It doesn't mesh with BioWare's targeted demographic with this game.

It would seem out of place in the games galaxy, since there were no hints of it in the first two games, it would seem weird if all of a sudden in the third there was.

Also, for "some" reason girl-girl is more widely accepted than man-man...

That's not true.

FemShep x Liara is a lesbian relationship "asexual" alien or no.

I also laugh at whoever called Liara asexual. Dictionary fail much?

yeah, bioware was nice enough to cater to the homosexuals and implement it into DA (zevran) and everybody ****ed and moaned about him being too "stereotypical", maybe bioware was just like "screw them, thats what we get for catering to tiny minorities"...

Human sexuality is a wonderful range of extremes on either end and everything inbetween. There's a sizeable gay gaming community, and like straight men enjoy the girl/girl, there's plenty of women who would enjoy the boy/boy option.

No one is asking you to choose it, Simply asking for the choice to be available, and as robustly implemented as the previous female options have been.

Liara, due to the character design is meant to evoke female, whether or not the character technically is.

According to ME1 lore Asari are an all female race. (Not to mention they are given female pronouns and identify themselves with said pronouns >_> )

And here M!Shep x Kaiden

And I might as well through F!Shep x Ashley (which annoyingly enough is actually COMPLETE or pretty damn close)

Nope there's even a save game to prove it. Genuine article just was removed from the final game (or more likely the triggers to active it were removed)

Are there any mods or edits to add those romances back in? Or anything like that for ME2?

Supposedly Thane has some pretty weird dialogue with FemShep during the romance that has her speaking in M!Shep's voice. >_>

If this happened again I'm gonna rage. Either do it or don't BioWare stop doing this halfa**d s***

I think if you download the save game you can activate the romance. ME2 hasn't been unlocked or anything I think it hasn't been out long enough besides its already ridculously hard to mod (unlike DA which even can mod and I suck at modding).

You guys do know that it is the exact same dialog, right? I mean that isn't lost on you, correct? If it means that much to you just use a little imagination. Maybe some people don't want to be gay. That's an acceptable outlook on life, whether the choice is there or not.

Anyone notice that both this thread and the other are started by people with new accounts?  I doubt that is lost on Bio. Trolling the gay thing is going to get old, fast.

You do realize all romances are optional right? <_<

That's like arguing against making a female Shep because you're male and find it weird to place a female character and a waste of resources seeing as how most players are male.

Hopefully since ME1 was at least somewhat moddable (in that you could at least play part of the Ashley-FemShep romance via the save game that nice person put on YouTube), people might possibly have an easier time modding this one (maybe the game itself wont be any easier to mod, but because they have some experience with the first one it could make it easier for them). Honestly if somebody can just get the Tali romance modded in for FemShep I'll be extremely happy, I 'want' all three of them of course but I'd be incredibly happy if we could at least get that one :) .

Are you a female?  You might be offended, but it is highly pertinent to the continuation of this conversation.  The reason, you ask?  Because you haven't got a clue to how the male mind works.  You see, you haven't actually said/debated/argued/compared/made allusion to anything at all, what you said was nonsensical at best.  An example, 11 million WoW players, know how many are male?  Most, non-viable but ballpark statistics rate the population as 80-90% male.  Know how many of those males play as females?  A lot, particularly Night Elf, Blood Elf, and Human females.  Why?  Because we don't have a problem playing a female at all, and it can be passed off as manliness because we would "Much rather stare at the backside of a female for 40 hours than a male."  See how that works out?

Allow me to put it in simpler terms.  Giving the option of male and female PC's(provided both are equally well done) still caters to the male demographic, while also catering to females.  Males wouldn't argue for the exclusion of female shep, some even prefer her, what we may argue however is if you wish to see a romance, play the sex that character is willing to get romantically involved with.  Barring that, use your imagination, as you can see, the words said are the exact same.
