This seems like a strange bug to me. While in character
creation for a female Shephard, no eyelashes show up, nor do they appear once
game play begins. As a matter of fact, they don't show up until the game is
closed and the relevant save file is reloaded. Obviously this isn't any kind of
game breaking bug, but I'm a stickler for character creation and it makes it
hard to know what I'm getting.



As an aside... I'd honestly prefer if the eyelashes never showed up at all.
They look like the kind of false eyelashes a woman who draws on her eyebrows might
wear.

 

Anyone else have this trouble? Already updated my
various drivers to no avail.

Same problem!



Although restarting the game has done nothing to help me, reading about it seems it might be some of the gfx cards out there I found a couple of others running a GTX260 with the same issue (the card is also what I use)



I found a "fix" that someone posted for ATI users not sure if it works on an nvidia card or not though, kinda upset as although this doesn't break the game it does make Shepard look stupid.

Whats the fix? It's really annoying for me. The eyelashes look horrible.

I agree, they're no good. I hope there is some way to just turn them off, so to speak.

I had this problem, I restarted my computer and it fixed it, im using ati though so it probably wouldnt work for you

I have this problem too.  It all started after imported a character from ME1.
After restarted my computer, eyelashes appeared. But then again disappeared.
I use ATI.

For me
Eyelash disappeared when imported a character from ME1 or loaded  saves with a unchanged character from ME1.

First thread I found when I googled this bug..
It may have happened after importing a save file.
I was taking a couple screenshot before that and they appear to be intact at that time...
How would a save file do this?

...GTX 260.. latest drivers 196.21

For the record, I also am a victim of lashless eyes... how ever will we be able to effectively bat our eyes at  the fellow mates?
Imported ME1, Nvidia vid card, Win 7 (still on RC)

Yes this happened to me too. It can happend sometimes if you make a new char but than if you make another new its okay. But for the imported character they never seem to come back

But i recreated my Female Shepard. After i imported my ME1 save & career. The character is newly made in ME2. Still people are claiming the bug is related to ME1 import?
Hmm... after i'll finish my 3d playthrough i might test a completely virgin game then. But would rather see this fixed in next patch.

For me the best way to get back eyelashes is use for a while a visor. Then eyelashes reappears.
But it's really annoying.
