Where is an option for us gaymers to have a gay shepard?

There are a lot of cute hunks in the game, especially joker! I am a little disappointed because the developers didn't cater to the homosexual community.

It is not BioWare's job to "cater" in this instance. If there aren't gay relationships, it's because this game doesn't have gay characters, pretty simple. They aren't just going to give you options for no reason, just to have them there.

Because Kelly is clearly a bisexual character. She expresses that she goes both ways and she would even get with aliens. She is an experimental young girl.

I'm not saying Mass Effect can't have gay relationships. I'm saying if it did, it would not make any logical sense to take characters from ME1 and ME2 who were not gay options and all the sudden make them gay. It is different when Garrus or Tali was not an option in ME1, because it's more like extra development having had them as just friends and evolving the relationship further in the second game.

It was nice that they included both gay and lesbian relationships in Dragon Age, but that doesn't mean that they have to include thsoe in every game they make. Depending on how much focus there's supposed to be on romance ...



If they have a lesbian relationship here as well, though,it seems kind of strange if there's no gay option. It should be neither or both, since it's still an RPG with choices and such, and not a completely linear game.

Why would any woman want to do a fish-man? He's a pretty cool character, and a skilled assassin, but my couch has better sex appeal.

Maybe BW should create a race of androgynous aliens for ME3, to have an asari type loophole for same-sex relationships

Or do Salarians fill that role already? I don't remember seeing or hearing about female salarians in ME1 or 2..

that's the only thing that irks me. Really. Liara is a discount lesbian and Kelly is pretty much a fling. So much for the days of "pushing the envelope." Eh BioWare?

Frankly I understand though they want to make money. Though I lost major respect for them because of the Kelly fling and how Liara isn't a "female" though she's from an all female race. <_<

There's not get used to it. Enjoy the game for what it is but know that BioWare is targeting what they believe (and to a certain extent is) a midly homophobic and extremely male oriented demographic.

Just because I'd rather there be just straight relationships in the game, (yes that means that liara only gets with males) , doesnt mean im homophobic.
