There are not immature, but socially breed to feel they way they do.  You cant bring gay rights to video game, before it is fully excepted socially.

Why not? An immature society has no right to stifle creative works just because they don't like some parts of things that happen whether they like it or not. Sure, you can limit choices in a game world where your character is well defined from the start, but Shepard is not well defined outside of being a soldier and even that is flexible. I can understand not all characters being bi, that would be unrealistic, but surely it should be a choice between all relationships or no relationships, not a choice between 'normal' relationships and all relationships?

Because its not the proper stage.  A small gay rights victory in a video game is minor, and wont change anything, all it would do is cause the company to lose money, unless it has the backing of social views

Calling it a choice really isn't any more intelligent than calling it solely genetic. People don't really understand the way genes work. Although not solely genetic, there is most certainly a genetic component to pretty much everything that is expressed. A phenotype for, say, autism may be influenced by environment but has a genetic undnerpinning. However, we  can't find the specific genetic code for this underlying phenotype because it could literally be any of the hundreds of thousands of combinations of codes.

So, I would argue that homosexuality is as much of a choice as autism...

(just so people don't think I'm uneducated about the topic or betlittling individuals with autism, I've been doing this research for the past 2 1/2 years...)

Sexuality isn't something you can just choose, otherwise I would be able to simply choose to find men attractive... I don't. It's like saying that you can choose to find that girl who you're friends with, and who you just discovered is crazy about you attractive, even though all you'll ever be is friends. Sure, it would be nice and maybe you could date her for a bit, let her have what she wants, but she'll never be the one that you love and all you do is hurt her and yourself in the end.

PS: is there nowhere that doesn't end up having bible quotes thrown around? The bible hasn't been news for 2000 years, and I truly am sorry about that.

It's not that they should as much as that it would be nice if they did.

If it was just another rail shooter with little story and no relationships, no worries.
If it was a more rigidly defined RPG with only the two options (1 for male, 1 for female) which are a part of the story and which are The Love Interest, again, no worries.

Mass Effect is very open however... there is a path to follow, there is a definite beginning and a definite ending, but you have freedom throughout; you choose where to visit, you choose what to upgrade, you choose who to fall for from a (relatively) sizeable group and they made that gesture in ME1 with Liara, sure, she's monogendered, there is no such thing as gay with the Asari but... it would be nice if they did.
