there was no gay sex in ME1 period, so why would there be any gay sex interests in ME2?
cerberus could have put shepard together wrong, but then you would admit being gay is a biological/genetic defect, and no homosexual will ever admit to that.

Apparently, ME2 was developed by a completely different team than DAO. That team obvisouly had different priorities, such as a fishtank, model ships, weird stripper secretary, etc....

No. Not going to happen in this game. Get used to it.
Sorry.
Don't get me wrong I want this as much as you do. But apparently the demographic that likes shooters are too immature/homophobic to deal with anything other than shallow lesbian romances. >_>
That's not cool. What happened to gay rights?

*facepalm* I pray this doesn't start into another Avatar, you know, when a very vocal group of the LGBT commuinty opposed the film because there were no LGBT relationships in it? Come on, play the game for the amazing story.

You do realize that sexual orientation isn't written in stone? People have come out as gay after having been married for 20 years or more, at times, because they repressed their homosexuality for social reasons. There is also such thing as bisexuality, namely attraction to both genders.
I am supporter for all possible options, and find it surprising that some are missing in ME2, especially considering that I distinctly remember a promise from Bioware shortly after ME1 came out that the sequel would carter all preferences; clearly somewhere along the line this idea was lost to space fish and hamsters. Very peculiar, all and all, considering that Dragon Age went its way to offer full-scale options in this field.
This is not a huge deal for me, personally; I'm straight male, and I prefer playing the game through both as male and female Shepards. However, I do sympathise with all who find the lack of option disturbing, and if any polls or petitions are made in regards to ME3, I'm happy to add my vote.
Pity that these threads become flamefests in five minutes each time, as people with maturity of 13-year olds flock to yap about icky gay sex. Unfortunately a mature conversation on the subject seems to be an impossible dream on open game forums. Perhaps Bioware could be as good as to add an Ignore-fuction to these forums, allowing intelligent people to filter out the noise, and concentrate on discussing with each other?

Well if your Shepard was attracted to Liara then she was definitely not straight to begin with.FataliTensei wrote...
Out of curiosity who considered the Liara option in ME1 to be a lesbian relationship? Technically the species is monogendered but they're always referred to as "she" and being honest...they basically look like a female, sounds like a female and act like a female.

Are all heterosexuals ignorant? Your education clearly shows your level of intelligence.
