I kinda got him killed in the suicide mission and uh... yeah, pretty much.

Lol, doubt he'll be missed. He handled differently than any other squad mate. Really stood out against others and that was a shame.

He was a squad mate but the fact that you couldn't "actually" interact with him made him a minor squad mate. After all, he is a merc...

Zaeed is definitely the least important member of the squad. Couldn't even talk to him, he gave little **** about anything, but lacked depth. He was a cliche badass that was not given enough layers like Grunt or Jack were. I kind of wished I could have killed him myself. >_>

He died in my run-through too. He had to lead the other group for obvious reasons. I thought he was a cool character and all but probably won't make a difference. He kind of had that whole "Boba Fett" thing going for him.

I didn't really like the character, though he was probably the most photorealistic in the game. Also, I liked his mission.

I had him lead my other squad, even though I knew he was gonna die. I didn't care enough to have him live to be honest.

I'm actually surprised alot of people didn't like him, tbh he was one of my main favorites. I do wish more time was spent on him, to flesh him out a bit more, and being able to actually talk to him would have been nice. I liked his backstory, his character and his voice actor. (plus the eye and the scar from being shot in the face was badass) He lived for me (could have something to do with me using him every chance I got) I hope he can be a party member in 3 and be fleshed out a bit more.

Zaeed's pretty cool, but to be honest he stood apart from the other squaddies in the worst way possible: inconsistency. Sure, he had some cool stories, but interacting with objects to hear all of them? That's lame. I wanted to talk to the man himself.

Bah, whatever. Samara makes a better wizened mentor than him any galactic standard day of the galactic standard week.

I liked his accent (kinda the British hunstman/safair accent) but other then that he was kinda flat. Ehh He was kinda cool but Grunt was a much better heavy weapons kinda guy.

I do not like Zaeed, he has no depth, no character just shallow merc for hire. He did not die in my game but I do not care about him at all.

I just about to start a thread on how dissapointed I was with barely being able to interact with him

Zaeed reminds me of Mandalore from KOTOR. I always take zaeed with me as a vanguard, no exceptions. Space Cowboy w/ aussie accent for life.

I agree with this, as much as his 'interactions' on the ship can be interesting, it would've been nice to maybe have a little more depth in it. Though I can understand why, he just a merc hired to do a job and unlike the others you don't really have to work to get him. I can possibly see my Paragon Shep from ME having issues with him, but despite obviously being a bit 'off the rails' to start with, my Renegade FemShep is impressed with him and he will no doubt be in the main party through the suicide mission.

Anyone know who did his voice, it's driving me nuts because it sounds so familiar but can't for the life of me put a name to it.

That's a stupid reason to not download it. He's a mercenary, do you expect him to play in a bed of roses?

The best part is the paragon option to punch him in the face and tell him to smarten up and leave his baggage alone else he endanger the mission. He has the best banter too in conversations, and cool stories

No, it's not. He's a damn hired gun DLC character. I don't like him. I don't need him. You make it seem like having him was necessary for success. The Illusive Man didn't even mention him. I had 10 squadmates I liked, and they were good enough.

You're just missing out from being stubborn. You say you didn't download it, yet how can you know what he's like.
