You're just missing out from being stubborn. You say you didn't download it, yet how can you know what he's like.

BioWare

...Lacking any real conscience...

Reason enough for me not to be interested.

Stop taking it so personally. You speak like he was a relative or friend of yours you're defending.

I liked Zaeed. He died, sadly. Also, I didn't know you could stop characters from dying?

Zaeed was VERY photorealistic, very well done with superb voice-acting.

A very well done character in general!

I like Zaeed. I do wish he was more expanded with his story and conversations, though. When he's in my party for other missions, he's had some pretty good lines, imho.

exactly this.

Zaeed is my bro.

I wish he had a conversation wheel, but honestly he tells you everythingthat would have been in the wheel anyways so it really doesn't matter other than consistency.

I liked how he told you random stories. Was really cool.

I loved the character, especially when he's in a story scene and he's all, 'Crikey, that's one big Reaper, boyos! I'm gonna need some hot bloody Romulan tea anfd varren haggis to get me throiugh this little ****estorm!'

(Not even remotely based on any actual game dialogue Posted Image)

Gah, Zaeed is freaking useless.

Thought he would be an ideal choice leading teams but he died on both counts.

Judging a character by a four-word blurb on him is a little strange. Zaeed isn't the nicest guy around, but he definitely does have a conscience.

The Voice actor played Ethan Rayne on buffy the vampire slayer. he was a minor recurring villain and Rupert Giles' main rival. the VA's name is Robin Sachs

I'm pretty sure Simon Templeman voiced him.

But really they sound really alike if I'm wrong....

Zaeed was alright as a character but as DLC he was rather limited in terms of depth. He's quite the badass and his grenade is probably one of the best things to use against groups of Husks but other than that ... meh.

His special ability was all kinds of awesome. Plus he can get +50% damage!

I wish he didn't have concussive shot though, that's kind of redundant after you unlock the grenade.

Well it doesn't say in either imdb of either actor however ive had more sources say it is robin sachs, it also sounds like him. and they tend to model alot of character looks after the VA's take miranda for example. and Robin looks alot like Zaeed

Bad marketing on BioWare's end then. Those blurbs should be cannon, not marketing bullcrap.

Could someone recount more about him? I rejected him because of BioWare's description, not because I'm a judgemental person. I mean I romanced Jack, and she's like the poster child of being unfairly judged.

I'm actually surprised alot of people didn't like him, tbh he was one of my main favorites. I do wish more time was spent on him, to flesh him out a bit more, and being able to actually talk to him would have been nice. I liked his backstory, his character and his voice actor. (plus the eye and the scar from being shot in the face was badass) He lived for me (could have something to do with me using him every chance I got) I hope he can be a party member in 3 and be fleshed out a bit more.

Agreed. I found him to be very useful and it just made since pairing him up with Jack as my other squadmate.

Well I took Zaeed basically everywhere I went, and he wasn't heartless. he was more in the grey area.

For my first playthrough he was only important when I socked him in the face. That was about it.

I'm a deotologist. I don't really believe in a gray area.

Meh. Something about him I find off-putting. Not interested.

Well once I got him as a DLC (one of those with the Cerberus Network Code snafu) I found him a good compliment with my Infiltrator. And once he got that Incendary Grenade it helped a lot. And he survived in my game. I liked his loyalty mission in so far as he got exactly what he deserved. My paragon Shep was so pissed off with him at the end of it all I was surprised when I didnt pull the trigger because really had he not tried blowing up the place it would have been so much simpler to complete it.

Zaeed was a true tough guy. I really felt he fit the tough guy act perfectly, better than all the rest to be honest. Garrus is good too, he was much more rough this time around. Jack was also a rough, with a godo reasonable explanation as well.

I like him quite a bit and used him a lot in the first half of the game. During the end game sequence I had him protect the rescued crew on the way back to the Normandy. Worked out fine.
