Jack and Mordin. The former has some really nice and subtle touch behind the scenes if you pursue her paragon romance. The latter... well, Mordin is... you know. Mordin.

Mordin won me over when he started singing. Other than him I really like Legion.

I've preferred Tali since ME1. But out of the new group...wow, it's tough. They did a great job with the whole lot of'em. I'm going to say Mordin, for right this moment at least. My opinion is always changing, lol.

Mordin was a surprise, didn't think I'd enjoy him. Other than that, I still liked Garrus.

Tali and Garrus, only newer characters I liked were Legion and Grunt but Legion doesnt do loads since he appears too late into the game.

Zaeed. He's got one of the best voice acting in the game. And his character is wonderfully layered besides being a total BADASS. He brings out the best and worst in himself, and his loyalty mission really gets to you.

I like pretty much everyone. Of all the playable characters I don't like, one is dead (Alenko), two are barely in the game (let's hope they stay out of ME3 too). Now Bioware just needs to bring Wrex back in a DLC and we can have the perfect team:wub:

I liked Thane the best. His story was very emotionally engaging to me (I will admit I cried a bit at one part, I'm weak like that). I even dropped Garrus for him romance-wise. *hides face in shame



Mordin came up in second. Hysterical character.



Garrus as third. He just seemed to lack depth compared to the other characters to me. That didn't stop him from being a total badass though.

She was in my team at the end, and when she started to slide off the platform I actually took my hand off of the mouse and started to reach towards the screen to catch her. No lie. I really started to believe in her character.

Jack is also a close 2nd. I'm a sucker for the renegade types.

Mordin and Legion tied for #1 for me... Something about AI's that's just awesome, and Mordin is hilarious. Also, their quests really bring up some interesting ethical issues.



Tali and Miranda follow closely behind those two... aw heck, they're all great. BioWare is the best!

Garrus, fav since ME1, Tali dont know why she seemed to turn into an interesting characer this time round. Legion because hes so badass, sniper part then. 'Shepard-Comander' was pure win :D.

Tali, because it's Tali. She's open, charismatic, adorable, and she has a crush on on my Shepard. I approve. She is my Viconia of Mass Effect 2, the love interest who I just can't help but choose every time, the other love interests become extremely hard to pursue in the wake of Tali.



Jack because I find her funny. She's the classic misunderstood, vulnerable type and I can never blame them for being so.



Mordin, my least favorite character before playing the game turned into being one of my favorites. The song and his tips and "help" he wanted to when trying to romance Tali were awesome, and shot him up to the top.

grunt and jack are my preferred team. but miranda, damn, that a**! also, thane, samara, tali. lol didn't care for mordin, zaeed, and legion. pretty indifferent about Jacob. Garrus is OG, so he's still good with me.

Joker went way up on my list of favorites in ME2. I love his comments about everyone else in the crew, especially EDI.

"It looks like Garrus finally got that stick out of his butt, but then he decided to start beating people with it."

As far as squad-mates goes, I'd have to say:

1. Ashley
2. Garrus
3. Thane
4. Tali
5. Almost everyone else.

The only squad-mates I don't really care much for are Samara, her daughter, Zaeed, and maybe Jack; although Jack is a victim kinda like that captured girl I calmed down on the Citadel, so I feel for her just a little.
