Going to quote the wow forums. Biotics are fine, l2p. The "best" class without a doubt that can handle everything is the infiltrator.
I agree. People thought that they would be able to spam powers in this one. My vangaurd kicked major arse. Shockwave was great for clearing out minion type characters and rush (while not doing much damage) was a life saver against Geth Primes and other Vangaurds. People need to stop ****ing and learn how to utilize their powers.
This.
There are few things so incredibly satisfying as a successful Charge. I recall using one to get behind and flank some enemies while the rest of my squad came up from the front. And then another Charge moved me out of the way of an oncoming rocket, bashed me into the merc who fired it and killed her outright.
And of course there's the fun that ensues when the target
lives.
Muscle fiber upgrade + strength enhancing shoulder pads = EAT FIST, EVIL DOER.
And it is all kinds of fun to beat a Krogan or Geth Prime to death with your bare goddamn hands.

If you want to argue something it should be that most Biotics don't work on armored targets. (Hence your singularity having no effect on a krogan.) Bullets work on everything. There's your problem. Shields I can understand, but armor shouldn't affect whether or not I can pick you up like a ragdoll and hurl you several hundred meters. The force necessary for such an action would already be so extreme that you could literally lift and hurl cars. Maybe if someone has armor he wouldn't go as far, since you have to move more weight, but it would not be enough for a considerable difference. This is why Soldier/Vanguard/Infiltrator are better than pure Adepts. All of those classes focus on weapons first, skills secondary. Adepts are not like that. To get a target to be affected by your biotics he has to have a red healthbar, by then 1-5 more shots(depending on weapon) would kill him anyway. What's the point? Adepts are good at clearing out rabble like Husks, sure they are passable at everything else, but delivering hyper velocity slugs into the heads of bad guys wins out in the end.
Actually, it
does make sense. In ME1 the only defence against biotics was exoskeletal upgrades that increased your mass. Enemies with armor likely are using heavy duty armor (since they're designated as having armor
specifically despite damn-near every enemy in the game appearing to have armor regardless). Such increase in mass would likely make biotics less effective.
