Hi all! I'm playing with a dwarf warrior. Nearly level 20 at this point with all party members. I have all the other items in the set
-Gloves of the Legion
-Boots of the Legion
-Helm of the legion
I've kept them equipped hoping I'd run into the armor at some point, but I've been looking around at the merchants and can't seem to find it ANYWHERE.
Pretty much just decided to give helm of honnleath to Zevran too (which is really good on him) and just got the drakescale armor the guy made for me in Denerim. I figure that'll work really good together. Somehow it just doesn't seem worth it to pay over 100 sovereigns for a so-so armor upgrade too when alot of stuff is free in the game if you'd wait a minute and play through the quests, ya know?
Just annoying having everything ELSE in the set and not being able to find the one piece you're missing.. If it has to be purchased somewhere, I should have enough gold for it by now. Have about 80 sovereigns saved up right now and I can sell some more stuff if need be.
-Chris
Where can I find "Armor of the Legion" ?

I believe it should be at the dead trenches, among one of the coffins lining the walls .

Well most of the 100 sovereign items are pretty big armor upgrades tbh, I mean a couple of the pieces you won't find anything close to

It's loot found in the Deep Roads. There's also a shield, fwiw.

This: it's in a sarcophagus in the dead trenches.
Sadly wikia doesn' give any more info than that.
But you are on the PC, just run through the Trenches area again(whats the legions fortress calld? Borzammar? or something like that) while pressing the "tab" key, that should highlight any objects you have missed.

Bownammar. Its in the room where you fight an Emissary and a bunch of animated skeletons. As you walk in through the door its the first sarcophagus on your character's left. For extra info: its the room immediately before the tunnel where you hear Hespith's chant.

The shield can be bought from Ruck, as far as I remember.

How do you get Ruck to talk since he is all liquored up on Taint? He just keeps wanting to say that we take his stuff. Do you need a higher persuasion or some persuasion in order to get him to come back or just interact with you?

Well, persuasion is always a good thing to embiggen in a Bioware game. I think Ruck needs you to pass a persuasion check. Have you talked to him about his mother yet?

Talking to him twice got him to sell me stuff. I did talk about his mother though...

You don't need the purchased items to win, although some of them are really good. Lifegiver ring, Spellward amulet, Andruil's Blessing belt, Staff of the magister lords, the Veshaille, and the Thorn of the dead gods are all some of the best you can find for those slots.

Great, I will acquire the persuasion ability on my next level and give it another shot!
Thanks.
Thanks.

Cool! Thanks all for the help. I'll go back to the dead trenches and rummage through the sarcophaguses. See if I missed it somewhere.
As far as the "Juggernaut" set of armor that gives you magical resistance to cold, fire, nature, etc.. Who do you guy suggest I use that on? I was gonna use it on Oghren for right now just because he doesn't have a full set yet. Already have templar stuff for Alistair.

You guys were right. It's in the dead trenches about 1/2 of the way in. It's in that sarcophogus on the left as you come in the room. Also, when you grab it, it makes a new quest for you. You have to go to the unmarked grave on the map and kill the shade. Wasn't really much of a fight since I've waited to go back and find the armor though.

I've always found the Gangue Shade ridiculously easy. You don't even really get anything for beating it either. Either some chainmail or...nothing. TBH, I think they should have made some more of the 'secret bosses' a lot harder with better rewards.

Juggernaught is great if you're planning on using an 'off-tank' or for an arcane warrior in a boss fight. Of the three boss dragons, two use fire attacks and the third does spirit damage. Juggernaught has some nice resists for both.
