i'm finding on the pc version that i realy dont have enough time to match up the sumbols, is it possible to edit an ini file to increase the time limit, if so which options should be changed?

I really have the same problem. I find it to be very difficult. Then there are the memory hacks that have absolutely no time and fail immediately.

You can buy upgrades in-game to double hacking and bypass time limits.
