I downloaded my version of the game on Steam. When I click on the icon to play the game, the screen goes black for a few seconds then goes away, revealing a generic "Mass Effect 2 has stopped working, windows is looking for a solution to this problem yada yada" message.
I've noticed that over the past few days others have had similar problems and I've scoured the boards for a solution from users, creators, anything. I would really like to play my game that I dropped 60 bucks on and downloaded for 14 hours twice and I'm hoping that it's not too much for BioWare to deliver on their product. The only reason I downloaded the dang thing was because my Xbox is broken!
