This is on the 360 btw

So I loaded up al the DLC, Shale, Warden's Keep, etc, etc, and it all worked fine.  Then, I saved and turned off my game.

Now, when I try to play, it won't, saying that the Wolf Charm and collectors stuff is not present "on the storage device", so I am unable to load my game.  However, I am able to if I am hooked up to X-Box live.   The itgems will "magically be there", so to speak. 

Is there a way I can fix this?  I travel a lot, and would like to be able to play my game without being hooked up to the internet.  Thanks for any help.

You have to be online for all 'DLC', full arcade games, movies, etc etc etc to be viewable so they can be sure that you paid for them and only you are using them on only one system. sheeeeesh, didnt you know

that's ridiculous. You should be able to play a game off of x-box live.

Some of the DLC actually works offline, like the Blood Dragon Armor, and the War Mages Amulet, as well as Shale.



My 360 is only having issues with the Embrels Belt of Many Pockets and the Memory Ring, saying they aren't on my storage device.



Now I'm kinda getting tired of the same misconceptions about the Xbox 360 platform. Primarily that DLC and DRM work the same way between the PC and Xbox 360. You do NOT have to be connected to Xbox Live for the majority of the DLC in this game. (You do NOT have to be connected to Xbox Live to play their arcade games full versions either, provided there is actually a single player component.) They do NOT check for every bit of DLC, nor do they make sure you are using a legitimate disc, primarily because piracy on the 360 is much more difficult then the PC, and Microsoft has full control of the network.



Does anybody this same problem or any solutions to the OP's or my issues?

I have the problem; I can't load previous games w/out connecting to X-Live, I have the collector's ed w/ the wolf charm, memory band, & belt of many pockets. If my net connection or I don't have access to the night at the time I could be screwed! Is there any work around?

I'd like to be able to play offline. Come on Bioware, is there a way to fix this?!?!?!?

I can't speak for the DLC, but for arcade games that's *only* true on the console you first downloaded the DLC on. If you download it on a different one later, you have to be signed in to XBL still. It wouldn't srurpse me if the same holds for DLC.

I was having this issue, and noticed a trend while trying to fix it. When you download the content you only need to download 1 item in the set and it will say the entire set is downloaded... but once you log off, only the actual item you downloaded seems to be verified.



You can test this by deleting the "promo pack" thingies from your memory then re-downloading a different item in the set. The problem still occurs, but instead of only having the memory ring, for instance, you only get the feral wolf charm. As people tend to download from the top to the bottom on the list, most people end up with the same items from the set being missing.



Doesn't solve the problem, but maybe that info will be handy for finding a solution.

I guess my issue is the same the exception being Im connected to xbl when the game loads, not trying to play offline. For some reason I dont connect to the Dragon Age servers (says they are temporarily unavailable) and so it doesnt load dlc (?) and I cant load saves. Give it a few hours and when I come back I can play... sometimes. This is really killing an exceptional game, wish I could just get rid of all this dlc garbage and enjoy the game. Fingers crossed for some kind of fix.

Yes it works fine for me when I load my game connected to xbl then disconnect. I can even reload the game after being disconnected.

I have the same exact problem I posted about this a few days ago and even put in a very detailed trouble ticket to ea here is my problem I have downloaded and installed all of the dlc addons stone prisoner, wardens keep, memory band, feral wolf charm, embris many pockets, lucky stone, and amulet of the war mage. I have even started a game with my mage I have saved all my progress. Here is the problem when I disconnect from xbox live and reboot my xbox 2 items are missing from the downloads section these are embris many pockets and the lucky band. This causes my saves not to load properly. I thought maybe the problem was just with the items I earned in dragon age journeys, however my amulet of the war mage is right there every time I am connected to xbox live or not. Please offer me a working solution so that I can have all the aforementioned items while I play disconnected from Live. I just tried to delete everything and start from scratch. This time I only decided to download the Embris many pockets, the Lucky stone, and the Amulet of the war mage. Same exact problem so deleting did not help

The only thing I have not yet tried is clearing the cache and re-downloading these items. I am just afraid if I re-download them and then try to play my saved game and then disconnect from Live it will screw up my save data and only allow me to play the game while connected to live. Currently I am playing without have my Dragon age Journeys item downloaded just to be safe.

A solution was found, btw.



You have to delete the items from your x-box, then re-download them, with the "top offending" item first. So if it says youre missing the feral wolf charm, an the memory band, delete the data, dl the feral charm, then delete again, and download the next one, etc until you've made your way through the list.
