Is there any other way to make the framerate go any faster?
I've already done the doc>dragonage folder thing everything 0 except for graphic detail and its at 1.

Need a better PC, graphics card, or more RAM. That is what it sounds like

You don't really expect any useful answer with nothing at all to go on, do you?

Preliminary diagnostic information

PCs are not *anything* at all like game console systems.  There is almost nothing that is truly "standard" between various branded PCs, making the game developers' jobs very difficult, and resulting in warning labels attached to game boxes for those games that have serious requirements.

In case you have misunderstood how to evaluate your PC compared to that game box label, we have to start from here.  Fill it all in.

Really, why use so much of  the forum's space with everything else that has so little to do with your complaint?  While ignoring the most important thing?

EVERYONE should already know that 50 to 60% of the game performance is purely the video card.  Didn't you even READ my form letter?  I BOLDFACED the video card manufacturers' names.  Didn't that give you a clue?

(Impatiently sarcastic, yes!)  No apology offered.

For such mediocre visuals, it makes one wonder why it runs so slow eh?   Apart from Bioware hiring programmers who actually know how to optimise code, the only other option is to upgrade.  I have an almost top of the line system that can play Crysis on high detail smoothly, yet DA still grinds to a snail pace sometimes, outside of combat even.

So Einstein, I'm intrigued. How would you optimise the code? What have you identified as being incompatible with a few sytem setups?
What can we graphic designers and artists do to make your life more pleasureable?

I wish I can make a Geforce 2 play Crysis on max with my magic tricks, but I can't.
