I have heard from a couple places that dragon age runs better on windows seven than vista as windows seven uses less ram. Can anyone confirm this? I would love to be able to run at higher graphics settings than I have now. Heh.

I never had windows vista, though I've played this game on both XP and 7, and both run smoothly. However, it's very probable that what you heard is right, as 7 is supposed to consume system resources much less than vista.

Can't say DA runs better but 7 use a lot less resources than Vista, so I would think that is true.

It's nothing to do with resources consumption, it's about resource efficiency and optimization.
I am running 7 32 bit ultimate on a single core 3.0ghz AMD Athlon 64 with 2gigs of ram and a single 9800gtx at full HIGH settings (I don't use Very High because I have a texture mod pack that makes the HIGH look better than Very High at system usage less than Low.

Nvidia Control Panel "quick' selection slider on quality.
I have played probably the last week damn near straight through with only breaks for 2 hour naps and occasional food trips and my computer has not been off yet. It hasn't even burped but for the occasional slow loading web page, but thats because I clean out my temp internet files all the time. Nothing to do with my computer.
So, to answer your question, I fully endorse Windows 7 as the premiere gaming platform of the next generation, until Win8 of course when they make us switch to 128bit. LOL. Hell, I just BARELY got this 64 bit cpu, and they phased it out 6 months ago. Go figure. lol
Anyway, gl. Enjoy many many hours of pleasure.
