No, you cannot. Never think it for a moment. Sorry.

Define your use of the word "work". Officially, the X1600 is the minimum, and that one is about 25% more powerful than the card you asked about. Peronally, I would consider the X1650 XT to be a far more "practical" choice for the minimum Radeon, and that one is 50% better than an X1300 is.Qazric106 wrote...

If you are willing to accept animation jerkiness and low screen resolution settings, it has all of the required functions.
P. S. I haven't edited the reference articles from the DA: O forum to reflect the differences between that game's official requirements, where they impinge on what I've written, however, that didn't seem hugely necessary. See this one and perhaps it will help you. If you plan to shop for a video upgrade, remember the Mantra, "n600" in the name for Gaming.

What problem?
That video cards, or rather laptop chipsets, that where never meant to play games with are not officially supported? You can't simply patch that.
The problem isn't only that Intel's (and the lower end NVIDA AND AMD/ATI) integrated video cards aren't potent enough to handle the game, the (Intel) drivers aren't optimised to play games.

Not only are they not optimized, but they physically cannot render the games. It's a problem on the hardware level. It's like asking a car to stand up and walk.

A patch wont do with out re-writing the whole game seeing as it makes wide use of SM3.0 which is why not all Intel GPUs(i use the term lightly) work since not all support 3.0 and even the ones that do dont do all of it in hard ware
even IF it ran it would be soo freaking slow do your self a favor get a 360 and play on that
its the cost of PC gaming
imo the min for a GOOD game play setup would be a dualcore 2.4 and a 8600GT or HD4650
and even thats just to get good frame rates with most setting down or off
a GTS250/8800GT/9800GT imo is the min for good res with every thing on
GTX260 or 5770 if you want to bring 16xAF and AA to the party

In somewhat blunt, but entirely factual words, please DON'T BE SILLY!Francis_776 wrote...

No game developers anywhere support crap such as what Intel produces, for games of this level of intensity. There will NEVER be any "Patch" to reduce the game performance sufficiently to allow Intel's crap to be used (edited here -- the very latest of the Intel onboard chips have finally added the various missing pieces they've not had, but no speed and no bandwidth. That means that if you know enough to deal with the terrible things, you can "crawl along" in the game, but the word "RUN" cannot be used in the same sentence with Intel onboard).
