Does anyelse get the feeling that if you give TIM the Collector base that you may get a Jade Empire style evil ending at the end of ME3? TIM uses Collector/Reper tech conquers/wipes out galaxy with you having enabled it in ME2? Maybe he can destroy the Krogan statue on the citadel and build a nice gold one of you as the one who made it possible?
Its paranoid speculation at its best, but its also midnight where i am and crazy ephinies happen after midnight.

I don't know for sure.
Perhaps giving Cerberus/TIM the Collector base is just the start of a new galactic threat that will make itself apparent at the end of ME3. Bioware is supposedly going to make more games set in the Mass Effect universe after Shepard's saga has ended, so maybe.
