I think that the tali romance played out very well. It was a big change from the other love interest that just want to jump your bones. tali wants it to be perfect.
i was alittle upset when i didnt get to see her face, but i guess ill have to wait until ME3 to see what i've gotten myself into. Unless i missed a part where you see her facePosted Image then i coud probably sleepPosted Image alittle better for the next few years waiting for ME3Posted Image.

how did you feel about the tali romance?

I didn't mind not seeing her face, because of the fact that as soon as her helmet is off she just jumps Shepard like the horny sex goddess she is. =P

I thought it was great.

I'm working on other games now to explore how the other stories play out so I can't compare it, but I thought it was handled very tastefully. Tali is such a sweetheart.

I would go after Tali, but I romanced Ash in the save I imported, and her email makes me feel kinda guilty. Then Tali, well it seems I would be Shep would be kinda using her, so yeah I feel kinda guilty. I am going to finish this playthrough, then go back and deny Ash(I saved right before Illos for this reason) and get Tali. I just wish she was more usefull against organic enemies, sigh.

Love Tali ... really disappointed you couldn't romance her as a female. I'll still be looking forward to seeing her in the next game.

If you want to use Tali against organics, focus on Energy Drain and Combat Drone, rather than AI Hacking. I'd only put one or two levels into her class skill, even, and focus solely on Drain and Drone. Nothing's quite as awesome as having Harbinger turn his back to you to focus on the drone while you shove a shotgun up his ass.

Yeah I maxed her class, 3 levels in energy drain and maxed combat drone, still not that great against organics, AI hacking is just such a great disruption(Thane's recruitment is great all the mechs mixed in with the regular troops).

Nah, ignore her class skill for the most part. Just one or two points there for her class skill and AI Hacking. Max Combat Drone for distracting key enemies, and Energy Drain for obliterating shields.

I was always wishing for a romace with tali in the first game. My sole regrett in the game is that you couldn't see her face.(dirty nasty bioware lol)(intentional gamer torcher). I suppose that element of mystery is what draws us to her as well as her "first love" purity. I will always find myself wondering, what color is her skin? does her skin have any pattern to it? does she have hair? what color is it? Her eyes seem to glow, what would they look at without a violet shield in the way? This element of curiosity and mystery are why tali is probably the most agreeable love interest (of paragon interest that is. Jack is nice and wild for you raunchy types) in any bioware game i've played so far.

of couse bioware could have been over taxed and could't get time to create a skin for tali.  I bet under the suit she is completly white with no contrast.

I still think the problem with showing the quarian's face is that all of us who actually care have already decided in our head what they are supposed to look like so if Bioware show it, half of us or more are going to be disappointed that their idea didn't match up with our idea.

Personally I tend to prefer the mask and consider that her "face". I'd rather they not share it than spoil a huge percentage of the fanboy fantasy.

I think people would prefer actually knowing what she looks like. It wouldn't seem right for people to be suddenly pissed that "she doesn't look right"-well, she didn't exactly decide now did she!?

Idk, i liked the fact that they did that, cause everyone was like - !!!!! - then said -AWWWW NOWAI- which was funny, and personally keeps me in suspense, my second play through i romanced Miranda, it's the closest to the ME1 scene

I always thought the quarians would be the kinda space elf race(sans the large hips, and chiken feet). I think of a kinda more etheral blue/green the the asari with the glowing eyes. Ehh its just me but I think they would be very slim and frail.

They look very human under the mask, except for the 3 fingers and chicken feet. Just based on what you can see she couldn't look that bad. I think most of us love her for her personality though, so as long as she doesn't take off her mask and have a bunch of tentacles pop out at us or have the predator face under there, we would be happy.

If you listen during the romance part it sounds like she's got a nice pair of lips

Very well done, and I am very glad they didn't show her face!

She was so cute when she was nervous.

I just want to say this:Bioware has made numerous games, with many characters for the most part Bioware does an amazing job creating characters that fans love, their artwork and models are well made and well liked.

I think Bioware should have showed us Tali's face in ME2,because they do such a great job with everthing else,I think the majority of their fanbase would be happy with w.e. they choose to do with the apperance of the Quarian race.Their fanbase is happy with most of the other species in ME,we should trust them and let them be free to create the quarian apperance.(Hopefully If we do not get a Tali face in ME2 dlc, maybe we can get a random quarian's face to see if we like it or not for ME3,come on ME2 dlc.)

i was wondering because most characters look like there voice actors and the one that play tali isnt that much to look at.

well, since ME3 is the end of this trilogy (and they've said they're looking forward to cutting loose on stuff diverging and universe-changing events without needing to make it all feasible to bring into a subsequent game) hopefully they'll continue to have lots of Tali (since there's no next game in this storyline to save her for), in fact the only limitation for character involvement is disc space and willingness to program/VA availability

But she's really sweet, now I know how the people felt who were going to keep their Shepards true to their ME1 LIs<3:P

....I guess everyone really does have differing opinions, but I've always found Liz Sroka rather a lot to look at :P
