So I made a character and uploaded it thinking I could use it for my profile portrait but can't seem to find it anywhere?

Where does it show up and/or how do I access it?

go to games then dragonage origins -pc and there they are.

Keep in mind that times may vary. Some people uploaded characters and they appeared on the site instantly. For some people it took five minutes. For me it took about an hour. A few people took an entire day.

But that was back when everyone was rushing the site all at once because it had finally been opened to the public. I don't think it should take more than half an hour now. One thing I typically do is I hit the upload button three or four times and that seems to make it come up instantly for me.

If you view your profile, your recent activity feed for your profile will notify you when a character has been added.

And we all answered your question wrong. Your characters are uploaded already and you were asking how to change your profile picture. On the left go to Profile and then choose Change Profile Picture. You can choose your characters from there.

To enhance on this - character portraits will appear in a box to the right of the normal avatar selection box.

This can't be stressed enough. It took me forever to figure out that there was a separate box to the right of the portrait selection pane.

I was actually asking both questions and the answer was primarily to just wait until they loaded and then follow the link to change portraits.

I uploaded 3 of mine last night and they still haven't shown up yet. :/

Did you actually go to "Change Avatar" int he edit profile area ? They dont automatically change to it for you.
