Speaking of which, why aren't there any Projects/Mods to make Sten/Leliana/Morrigan into their Trailer depictions rather than 5+ turning Morrigan Asian and Leliana Blonde?

morrigan doesnt look asian at all. i mean, maybe like, one of her parents was half asian or something lol but yeeah
and leliana still had the red hair, its just not as vibrant, nor does she look as badass as the trailer, wich is obviously because its the trailer, they had to make it more epic.

also, the models dont really resemble the characters, as i said before they were most likely just used as inspiration, if your going to draw a car, you have to look at some other cars to get ideas first. they barrowed a few features from the models, but they really dont look like them at all.

The Morrigan from the CG movie Bioware did (I forget the name of it, I think Sacred Ashes movie?) looks nearly exactly like the model.

ROFL! not to insult BW but i dont think they really hired those girls to pose to make a game character out of them.
They prob got caught with these 2 girls in the studio and claimed it was for their game lol

But indeed, they do resemble the in-game models a bit. I always thought the Leliana sorta looked like Tara Reid in the Sacred Ashes trailer.

To be honest, I find the piece of information that an artist takes a real world model to create an ingame character according to it quite unsurprising. They did it already in Baldurs Gate, after all.

Eh ? Have you actually seen any real white women in your life ? And black women, for all I know, have even more variance in their looks than european or asian women.

Yes i've seen white women and even dated a couple dozen. The majority of skinny models on the runway are white. The majority of shapely women in hip-hop videos are hispanic and african-american. That variance you are talking about is called obesity. Europeans and Asians are way down on that list and America is the leader. In my world travels the top 3 women type for me are Latin American, Arabic, and European.

 I don't see much of a resemblance either. Hair color and two arms and two legs. Wynne, Lel, and Morrigan all have the same body. Too bad old people can't keep it going on in real life eh? Wynne has some anti aging magic going on I guess. At least cast on her body.

That's cause they're the models used by Blur for the Sacred Ashes trailer but not, I don't think, by Bioware for the game.

They don't look like the in game characters, but if you compare them to the sacred ashes trailer Mori and Lel, then ya, they look a lot alike. I personally prefer the in game versions myself, no mods. Well, I can't mod anyways because I'm on 360, but if I could, I wouldn't. Oh and the pics are bonerific, just saying lol.

I wonder why Bioware made Leliana and Morrigan look so different from the models they're based on but they made Shepard look almost exactly like the guy he's based on:
