Mass Effect 2 problem:
I can't start up Mass Effect 2 anymore after the recent crash(Thanks for not fixing that Bioware -.-) the launcher comes up, I press play, I hear my computer starting to working, then it just goes silent and the game never starts.
Anyone got a fix for this? I'd love some help :-/

Just tried re-installing. It still wont launch, what the hell. Did it suddenly delete a file or somethign that allows the game to play after the crash?
EDIT: Also where is the search button? I cant find it anywhere -.-

I believe someone said about setting affinity in a previous topic....
For those who do not know.. Startup the launcher... click on free space in the taskbar and click start task manager.. right click on the launcher while in the application tab and click go to process... right click on the highlighted entry and click set affinity... only tick one of the boxes and make sure only one is ticked... click ok, close taskmanager and continue with game...
i hope this works... message this thread if it does not work

Same bug here, I tried the solution realveemon posted but it didn't work, to bad.
Haha first time i bought a Bioware game, heard so many great things about the company and i got a game that isn't even starting up.... y
Seems blizzard is the only legit company after all, well probably returning the game tommorow and waiting for SC or Diablo.
Thanks Bioware for this amazing game....

I would just like to know Bioware is working on it and is aware of it. I can wait if I KNOW bioware is trying to fix it.
