I've noticed throughout the first 2 that there are 3 main "allies" hinted at for the fight against the reapers.

You can ruin all of these possible allies through your actions in the first 2. Also, at the end of the second you can choose to keep to keep the collector station.

My guess at the best possible outcome for ME3 is to have all 3 racial allies and the new collector technology.

Also...random sidenote....

Anyone notice that all the reapers look the same despite the collector abductions being a form of reproduction? Wouldn't the reaper fleet (shown in the cutscene at the end) be made up of thousands of species that the reapers encountered over millions of years?
