This is an unintended exploit that involves manipulation of the Collector’s Edition downloadable content.
To perform this exploit, follow these steps:

• Make sure the Collector’s Edition dlc is enabled.
• Load the save file you want to apply this exploit.
• Use the Grimoire of the Frozen Wastes.  Doing so will permanently add 3 attribute points to the character that used it.  You can spend them now or wait until later.
• Save your game and exit to the main menu.
• Disable the Collector’s Edition dlc.
• Load the same save file.  Hit “Force Load” on both prompts.  This is important because it clears the save file from Collector’s Edition data.
• Save your game and exit to the main menu.
• Rinse and repeat.

You can use this exploit as many times as you wish.  The only downside is that when you load with the Collector’s Edition content disables, Bergen’s Honor and Final Reason will be removed from your inventory and must be reacquired at your camp.  However, this can also be a benefit.  If you sold the items, you can re-retrieve them and keep the gold.

• Warning: Use caution when using this exploit.  This exploit can ruin the game experience if it is applied too many times.  It will create discrepancies in power between your characters.  If you use it too much on one character, you will need to use it on other characters so they can keep up.  And temporary characters can become more of a burden if your main characters are too powerful.  With that said, it can be very useful if you want to create one powerhouse to dominate the battlefield.

I'll go legit with no safety net..I like it better that way.

Once you get the toolset you should be able to go in and edit your saved game character and give yourself all sorts of haxxor stats.
