Okay, I depart to be a "diversion" on the Archangel mission. Run through the room of the guys discussing their plans of action.
Go through the door
And...
Crash.
Happens every time, no matter if there are background processes running or not. If the processes priority is high or not. Or if I uncheck and check the processes affinity or not.
Anybody experiencing similar problems? Or know a fix?

I also crash (altho not on the same place but on the Archangel mission).
I crash during the conversation with Gathka, considering everything else has run perfectly I simply can't see this problem being due to my drivers or such?

Yeah, I run everything fine. Until then it inexplicably crashes. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Yes, this game DOES crash randomly or at a certain point for some players. It needs to be fixed by Bioware seriously.

Well I verified my game cache, steam is replacing some files.

Also having this problem. Have the most recent patch, latest video drivers. Zaeed and Miranda are on my squad.
ME2 crashes to the desktop during the Archangel 'diversion' mission at the exact same point every time - there's an area where mercenaries have set up barricades - one get gets sniped the moment you enter the area. You then make you way through this area, to the right hand side of the barricade. You need to go left to go to progress the mission, and to speak with Cafka (presumably - I haven't made it that far yet). There are three broad black lines on the floor - the very moment Shepard sets one foot on these lines - crash!

Same Here,
I crash right after the Convo and the mish is loading. Same place everytime. I've already tried changing priority to high, downloading drivers, etc etc and it always crashes at the same spot.
