How do you turn off the aim assist?  It's highly frustrating, as a veteran FPS player, to have your perfectly alligned headshots ripped away by a random strafing enemy.  To be aiming at an explosive container, only to have the scope snap to the nearest enemy when I zoom in.  Trying to aim around the side of cover, and going over the top because the reticle detected a closer enemy.  It's not a deal breaker, but it keeps it from being the perfect game.  Employing the aim assist from the first one, or at least having the option to turn it off all together would have been appreciated.  I'm really just looking for confirmation on the part of the devs. that this is a known issue.  Possibly a patch in the (very) near future?  Please help me out with this!

I've played on Normal, Veteran, and Hardcore and I don't believe I ever encountered any aim assist. Always hit(or miss) on my own, and I enjoy sniping a lot.
