 Hey Everyone,

So like everyone I was excited with the final release of Return to Ostagar. I downloaded and installed the DLC no problem. Heading to Bann Lorens Land, everything whent fine however once I move on from Bann Lorens land to Ostagar it just keeps loading.

I have the mapscreen with the flashing loading text in the corner but nothing further happens, I figured It might just be a longer load time but ever after waiting well over 10 minutes twice around I figured it's something else. Any idea's how to fix this issue?

Thanks in advance.

I imagine it might may have had something to do with modded game content. I deleted and removed the content and tried again but still have the same issue :(.

This makes me wary about downloading RtO.

Yeah I made that mistake to :S. Would be nice if we could get a Bioware reply to this.

So far, tried with 3 different games (2 in epilogue status, and one mid-adventure). Same thing happen all the time:

RTO is succefully downloaded using the in-game interface.

RTO is succefully installed.

First part is running fine.

But when trying to get to the new Ostagar area, the bloody path reaches the map point, but then the loading icon stops and the game freezes.

Well, i solved my problem by removing and re-installing the DLCs. So i guess it was corruptded.

How do you re-install it? When I remove the DLC from the user\\documents\\bioware\\dragon age\\add ins  folder it doesn't redownload the game but instead tells me to buy it again -_-

Rogue-Element, probably best to download it and install it manually to reinstall it.

http://na.llnet.biow..._CP_1_1.1.dazip

Right click on the above link and select “Save Target As”, or the equivalent in your browser. Save the .dazip file to your computer. If your browser tries to rename it to a .zip file, rename it back to .dazip after download.

Find the daupdater.exe application, it is usually located in the bin_ship directory in your Dragon Age Installation (For example C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\bin_ship\\daupdater.exe) Double click on it to open it.

Click on Select DAZIPs. Navigate to where you have saved the .dazip file and open it.

Now the .dazip file will appear on the Install tab. Select it on the list and click Install Selected.

Cheers Kepha, had to reinstall it twice (first time the updater stopped at 75%) but it's fixed now.

Thanks a lot :D.
