How much DLC do you think there will be?

I have to be honest, but if you survive the mission you feel like life goes on in the ME2 universe, except with nothing to do.
Because of this, I'm seriously hoping for a lot of DLC, several of which would hopefully be huge/big. I'd pay anything just to get more content, I'm hoping for maybe a new citadel-like area with more random encouter side quests and such, I don't know. I really want new locations and other short stories that maybe somehow connect to the big reaper and collector threat. What do you guys think? How much DLC do you think we will get, considering that you can pretty much live on if you survived the mission?

It would feel like it isn't over yet, and as a bridge until ME3. If they keep releasing DLC for ME2 until ME3 (or at least some time before it) that would be so wonderful.

Hopefully a lot. I'm giving them another week or so before they announce a DLC. After all, we've still got two classified squadmates, do we not?

I just hope if we get more squad mates they will let us talk to them... unlike Zaeed.

I'm hoping for something that will expand the story post-campaign.

I don't hope for squad mates... we got 10 as it is, minus some dead ones. I wish to talk to these more. It feels so odd with them just sitting where they were, except for Tali, since you can actually cuddle with her and stuff so that's something (or w/e your LI is).

Also I hope there's a DLC that adds random DAO like conversations on peaceful places.

There probably going to pull a Lion Head and after a year only give us one and it'll be another space station with time kills and then the captain will be like, "Holy ****! Amazing job Shepard but can you handle what I went threw in WWII!?"

Shepard - "Say Whaaa "

It would probably be a pain to get all the VA's to record new dialogue, but I`d love to see more conversations on the normandy as well as "random comments" during missions/cities.

Since there are no elevators, party conversations can happen during walking around a city area such as citadel, omega, tuchanka, and Illium.

Lol, I hope not... but think about it, the Cerberus network seems like a big thing saying "Here, have an in-game network, this also means we'll be bringing you a lot of stuff so that we can actually use it". It's kind of a sign that they're planning extensive DLC for it.

What I'm thinking they did with the DLC this time around is actually have it all finished by the time ME2 went gold so all they had to do was release it in specific time frames. It would make sense after their last disastrous fray into the DLC world.

Theres supposed to be a 2 year DLC plan or something like that right? I expect they will deliver this time after seeing what they're doing with DA:O. About 4 DLC quests and an upcoming expansion pack that continues the story from the game. ME2 will probably have an expansion pack or two along with some extra content DLC such as n7 missions, another character, etc...

I'm hoping for a fair amount, but I also hope it doesn't cut into the ME3 development time. Yes, I realize it's not the main team responsible for DLC, but the more hands free to work on ME3 the better in my opinion.

That does sound convincing EJon. But damn, I honestly don't want any new characters. They have a ton already, they should rather have some voice new stuff instead of hiring new people again.

Some rachni quest would be nice.

I'd like trophies and more stuff for the captain's cabin. The fish and Boo-reference were a bit meh, but the helmet recovered from the Normandy crash was a nice touch because it had an emotional connection, likewise the photo of the ME1 love interest. A DLC that adds trophies from the different missions, and adds the books and the Shepard VI to the captains cabin would be great.

If the rumors are true, then Kasumi will be next - and she/he will be the last. They can't overdo it with characters. That would be your "Dirty Dozen" anyways ;) Don't expect any more if they do release that one. But the mission/quest DLC's will be coming. Casey said they will be doing an extensive DLC plan for 2 years, hopefully they will be true to their word and even do more than the team for DA:O is. We have Zaeed, Normandy Crash Site, the Hammerhead coming soon which comes with an n7 mission i believe, the Cerberus armor, Kasumi. They will probably release content that allows you to actually use the Hammerhead in certain situations - so probably new n7 missions that require it. Stuff like that. I'm pretty confident that they'll deliver. :)

The MTV interview posted yesterday says they plan DLC content almost till ME3's release. From weapons and armor to storyline DLC packs.  I just wonder what kind of story line DLC they are planning.

Like i said, they will probably have an expansion pack or two bridging the events from ME2 to ME3 like DA:O is doing with the Awakening expansion.

I want a lot, and not just new squadmates. The downside to playing after the mission is that the squadmates run out of dialogue. The more missions we get, the more room for character development and dialogue.

Kasumi will be the last if its real. I wouldn't expect more. We will definitely be getting more missions. The game's only been out for 4 days, give it time. :)

This would be tricky, as ME is a planned story, unlike DA:O.

Two? There's only room for one more squadmate on the select screen.

I personally hope it's a Batarian.

Don`t foeget we have the Hammerhead DLC coming too.

Hopefully other DLC missions will require the hammerhead, as the Mako, IMO, just needed to be improve,d not removed. Also with less rediculous mountains to drive through. I liked the Therum, Feros, Noveria driving sections.

What makes you think DA:O isn't a planned story? And how would it be tricky? Please do elaborate.
