So, when you bust in to break up the fight and have to choose one side of the other to tell to calm down, the other gets pretty pissed off. Does that decision effectively make the point where you have to choose which one is going to be a love interest, or is there a way to mend those feelings?
The greyed out conversation options left me wondering but i just figured that i didnt have enough into either paragon or renegade to open those options up.

Yeah, exactly. If you don't have enough P/R points you have to chose. You can go to them later however, but again you will need a lot of P/R points to talk them out of it. Though I don't actually know what happens, since I myself didn't have enough P/R points, so I have no clue what you actually say in those dialog options.

I dont think so, I did not have enough paragon the first time around. However I chose jack. Which in turn made Miranda loose loyalty. After getting around 75% paragon I went back to her and there was an option to "make up" and loyalty came back and could pursue her again.

Thanks for the reply.
Apparently i should have just browsed back another page and i would have seen the other thread with this topic. Ah well.
I am interested to see how this plays out. I generally tend to play the good guy roles but in Bioware games i like to bed every woman possible. lol. I hope i can talk psycho chick back around. You know what they say about crazy girls....
