Pretty simple - either they ARE or they ARE NOT.

An earlier post mentioed about a later release of Return to Ostagar for PS3 and Mac, now nothing about the Mac is ever said in any release.

No updates on patches.

Nothing official about Awakening.

Either you WILL support this game we paid the same amount for as PC versions, or you WILL not.

Just let us know.

I second this. PLEASE clarify the situation. The patches deal with serious issues, and Bioware had a great history releasing patches/content for NWN... we need them for the Mac version too!

Also - why not consider a 'manual download/install' option if putting together installers is too much work/relies on third party/etc. ?

DLC is authorised online. Registering the game with the Bioware site is possible (Mac version registers as a PC version)

DLC that I have managed to manually download will install and run correctly (both official and community)

Please make RTO et al. available as a manual download... happy to pay far / have authorised.

Agreed.

Loving the game btw - my gf made me the character I am using as my icon, I have never seen another game where it is as possible to make "me" as this one. It's eerie sometimes. :)

Indeed this needs to be clarified. In fact you should have this clarified in your contract with transgaming.

Just an addendum: I found RTO to download and and install manually - not that bioware seems to be advertising the fact - but it wont run because it requires 1.02 (as someone posting elsewhere on this forum has noted). I presume it would also not run because it would not be authorised...

BIOWARE - I want to give you money... why make it so difficult for me to do so???

I also would really like to give them money, I am very saddened that I cannot play the soon-to-be-released DLC content or expansion.

I would also love to see a v1.02 patch because I would really like to use the "The Winter Forge" mod but the only version that works on Mac's is the v0.3.1b one and it is still a bit buggy while the newer versions have a lot of the sweet things that I like about it...

Regardless, some info to either dash my hopes or increase them exponentially would be nice.

Not sure if it means anything but all of my "registered promotions" for the PC now say PC/Mac after the forum was updated, even Mass Effect 2 stuff, again could be nothing but seemed worth mentioning.

Something more on the technical side of things...

"Cider acts as a "wrapper" around the PC game...directly loading a Windows program into memory on an Intel Mac...Patching is made easy as the Windows patch will also support the Mac version of the game."

C'mon Bioware... this shouldn't be hard... certainly it shouldn't be hard to be straight with us at least?

I'm starting to feel as this is a licensing problem. The DLC download/installed had to have been explicitly removed from the Mac version, and there has to have been a reason for that. Basically BioWare and EA or whoever is still negotiating with Transgaming for updates.

Only a guess...

I think you might be right... that would explain the deafening silence (which - if anyone from Bioware is reading - is completely understandable. I'd rather hear an announcement that things have been sorted out, than have that outcome scuppered by loose talk on the forums).
