That is now a word. And it can only be used to describe Zaeed Messani. He's just that cool.

He's kinda neat, he told some good stories in his room, but other than that...
There's not much to him. Cool character, but he really just felt more the like the star of a side quest than squad mate.

I only used him once when I only had 3 characters, after that I took his flame grenade upgrade so I could spam nades and left him to stew on the ship.

This. He's a cast off. He'd be fine if:
-He had an actual dialogue tree and depth of the rest of the squad.
-He had more than the (short) mission.
-He had interactions with the rest of the crew, instead of standing in his hideyhole. Jack and Grunt is enough for that, I want him to confront others.

He's a pack rat. And he swears a lot. He's awesome.

He doesn't need a dialogue tree to have depth. He already has more to say than most of the other squadmates do. You just don't get to talk back. Says more about Shepard's character than Zaeed's.

I thought I'd hate Zaeed, but I actually really liked him. I agree that he could have been better integrated into the main plot and been given more to do.
On the other hand, he had a surprisingly large number of things to talk about while in his hidey-hole. There's never a dialogue tree, but he'll say a *lot* of different things to you if you keep bugging him. He also has something to new to say about many of the various crew-members after you add them.

The impression I got was that the Shepard voice actors were more-or-less done when the work for Zaeed was being done, so they didn't record the full complement of dialogue that would usually accompany a squadmate.

I liked Zaeed actually - heck, I liked ALL of the characers. It was rather difficult to pick anyone to keep on a regular basis, although due to the romance thingy I was sticking with Thane quite a bit. *cough* I sort of hope there's a future DLC where we can actually get Vido.
I was doing the paragon thingy so I stopped to rescue peeps (don't know if you actually can catch Vido if you don't, but eh).
