Granted. Inevitably, you travel back in time, unravel the space-time continuum, and prevent the very birth of the universe. However, by preventing said birth, you no longer exist to make that wish, thereby undoing it's cause. As a result, the universe just prevents your birth, to keep the paradox from occuring.
