Is there any consequences to either?  For instance, I tipped the dancer in Omega half a dozen times but nothing seemed to happen.  Did the same with drinking but I just seem to get buzzed and there is a couple one dimensional quests so far.

I plan to drink until I pass out after defeating the Collectors. Well earned.

I'm sure it's mostly for fun.
