Whatever you do Bioware, just don't make the next antagonist Shepard's alter ego.
Like I said, he/she doesn't have to be an alter ego, but out of all the beings in the entire galaxy, what are the odds that Shepard is the only badarse in the universe?

And others cannot be portrayed as such? Shepard is a strong protagonist, but the supporting characters (much less any of the NPCs) lacked any REAL pull.

Saren should have never been killed. Bioware tries to kill off the wrong people. Too many people r able to die. y were we given a chance to even kill wrex, that still didn't make sense to me. The mission on virmire didn't seem that difficult that everyone couldn't survive, but i can go through the omega relay and bring everyone home even the ones without guns. i don't understand.
Saren's death was done perfectly. His goals and personality did not match. You'd think someone who is capable of running high-risk ops would be smart enough to know when he's being played.

exactly, its like no one can kill someone with the same gun like shepard, no one can do biotics like shepard can. He's out of control. I wouldn't have a problem with shepard being that powerful if bioware was going to end Mass effect after 3. But their making a franchise out of this. I don't think a shepard legacy is good for the mass effect universe.

Why does every hero need to be some kind of weird, dysfunctional BFF with nemeses? I like the reapers as they are. They're cold, impersonal, and ludicrously evil. There's no grey area, they can not and will not be reasoned with, the only way things can end is with the absolute destruction of all galactic civilisation or with the absolute destruction of the reapers.
True, total, purposed evil is the best kind of evil.
Just because you cannot do something doesn't mean it's not possible. People in the "grey area" can be reasoned with. It's happened. You just stupid and narrow enough to assume they can't.

But now we are chasing mindless bugs who are being played. I felt no threat by the collectors. I even blew up their secret human weapon like it was a fire ******, T'was nothing to a G. Saren was much better than that he was an in your face villain

I DON'T LIKE TO REASON WITH EVIL. The whole, obvious point of that post was that that I LIKE the fact that the reapers can not and will not be reformed. I don't like horse's ass "hay lets b frends" endings.

Let's put those guns away, mate. It's obvious he likes the concept of Reapers and believes Bioware has done a fine job. If he thinks a standalone enemy is cush, that's fine.

Nobody said it had to end that way. There is no such concept as pure "good" and "evil" in the real world. Bioware has portrayed that the best with their games. You mentioned earlier you don't like the concept of "grey". Would you say that the Geth are pure evil? What of Legion? What was Shepard doing if not reasoning with them? Bloody Hell.

I'm betting Admiral Morrigan's going to ruffle a few feathers in part three.
Any bets on how big of a role she'll play? Not the most charismatic person, but not a bad supporting antagonist.

Besides, people seem to forget this is a trilogy. Saren was/is the main villain, along with the Reapers. The second game is happening because of things he set in motion.
This is a different game but it's the same story. We don't need a "main villain" to trade verbal barbs with every game.
Having said that, it's sort of obvious at some point The Illusive Man will become a "villain".

No No u don't have to kill him in the first game, and the illusive man sucks. The shadow broker is much more interresting.

Saren was good actually, I just think if he was in the second game, we would have had better things to do while getting ready to fight the collectors. The story could have been better. In my opinion
